    Georg,

Philo of Alexander was more aware of the culture and way that Jesus, Paul, and other Jews of his time thought than you do.  It is only the arrogant that ignore the cultural context of scripture as it is clearly written that Paul would be a Jew to a Jew and a Gentile to a Gentile. If you know God n then It is simple enough to test whether the beliefs that such an individual had are consistent with scripture or not just like it is simple enough to test whether your beliefs agree or do not agree with scripture.

It is good that you acknowledge you do not know what the Spirit of God is because that means you are open to learn what it is.

The spirit of man is corrupt which is why Jesus teaches us we must be born again in spirit.

Kerwin!  You telling us we have a beam in our eyes, when you insult Georg.  And make a different verse out of John1:14 and say married, rather then what it really says???? What is it with you lately???? Maybe you need to take a break and get yourself together.  You should know that adding to Scripture is wrong….
The problem as I see it, is that you don't want to acknowledge that The Word of God is Jesus.   That Jesus did exist before the world was.
We have 5 different Bibles and not one says that what you quoted.

Jhn 1:14 ¶ And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

This too, shows plainly that it is Jesus who became flesh.  Why would it say became flesh if He was a Human only????

    Irene

The error is in what “word” is.  logos

Word/logos means message, or the thoughts behind the words used.

It does not mean a person or a deity,  It may be used that way as the figure of speech personification, but it means message.

Dog means dog, yet when Gentiles are referred to as dogs, do you think that dog means person?

    No.

Dogs are dogs, people are people.

What is the thought behind the words used?

In some ways, the Gentiles were animals.

    Ie, LIKE animals.

    Disgusting animals in some ways.

Yet dogs are generally considered smarter than sheep.

Jesus Christ is God's plan for man's redemption in the flesh.

Even as much as a married couple's plans to have children becomes “flesh” when they finally have children.

The answer is so very simple when we let scriptures speak for themselves.

Kerwin is on the right track.

He may misstep at times, as anyone does.

But he is on the right track heading in the right direction.

you have not said anything worth to retain,

beside that you stand to support Kerwin,

your explanation is worthless as a men made logic,

why you do not explain Revelation 19;13 and John 1;1

and who is Jesus ??the Word ? the Christ ?? the Holy spirit ?

    do you know??

    Pierre
