    T,

    I believe a demon uses the evil principle that influences a person's behavior to own the person and so control him.

    I am not saying the demon is a spirit being that jumps into a person as that point is not important to a demon's ability to dwell in a person through that person's evil principle.

    Scripture only speaks of God dwelling in humans but it seems reasonable that angels, like demons, can do so as well.

    you have me lost in the wind of your explanation ,I only know what scriptures says ;

    Jas 1:14 but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed.

    Jas 1:15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.

    temptation is the direct opposite to not being tempted ;so that by not being tempted you stay inside Gods blessings and rules ,so if you get tempted it is coming from you ,from the heart ,do you understand this ???

    T,

    The temptations of Jesus and Eve are examples of temptation. How do you perceive James words as fitting in with those temptations?

    T,

    It is written that Jesus was tempted even as we are but without sin. Eve is part of “we” as she is human.

    now again I ask you how could the temptation of Jesus be the same as in Eve ???

    T,

    I believe that Jesus was tempted as Eve was but without sin.

    I also believe Eve and Jesus were both tempted when by her/his own evil desires she/he were dragged away and enticed.

    The difference is that Jesus' desire did not give birth to sin while Eve's desire did.

    In this way Jesus was tempted even as we are but without sin.

    Scripture has the serpent/Satan enticing Eve/Jesus and Eve sinning while Jesus does not.
