Quote (Gene Balthrop @ July 18 2010,00:56) barely…………You and Nick are both right IMO, the divinity is derived from the divine Spirit of GOD, Jesus acquired divinity when he recieved the Spirit into Him at the Jordan river, there he became a true son of God, He was that day begotten with Holy Spirit the first from Man to acquire that Holy Nature. If people could only understand it was the Christos (anointing) that made the difference in Jesus, not the fact of his berth by Mary, But him being Begotten by GOD with His HOLY SEED, Being deposited in Him that is what made Jesus divine. The voice plainly said this day not some time in the far distant past, as trinitarians and Preexistences believe. IMO peace and love to you and yours………………………….gene
So according to you, barely and Nick…Jesus was divine because of his annointing.Well let me ask you three this.
What did Jesus do to be annointed
What made him special that God would make him a son?
Why was he different from all other prophets?

He was preordained and conceived of Mary and pastored by his true Father.
He fulfilled the law and remained sinless.
So if he was preordained, God knew before Jesus came in flesh, that he wouldn't sin.He fathered his flesh by way of his spirit.
Jesus then was sinless until death.
God was IN him and operated IN HIM, visiting his people.
—————-It doesn't sound like the annointing was the significance.
It sounds like Jesus was significant to begin with.
His annointing was part of the process, just like his virgin birth.
