    Hi Everyone,

Do you understand “The Truth” of what this verse is saying?
“For thus saith [the LORD GOD]; David shall never [be without]
a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;” (Jer 33:17)

    God bless

NOTE: “wanting” means to “be without”.

Yes I understand what that is saying; and it was so; I said “was”.

You have to understand what is meant by “the house” of Israel; it means the kingdom of Israel.

Do you also remember what Ezekiel prophesied?

Eze 21:26   Thus saith the Lord GOD; Remove the diadem, and take off the crown: this shall not be the same: exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high.

The crown is a symbol of ruler ship; after Babylon invaded Judah, they no longer ruled them self.

Then, after 70 AD, even the nation ceased to exist; no nation, no king.
Even after Israel became a nation again, in 1948, they don't have a king. the next King will be Jesus Christ.

Eze 21:27   I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, “”until he”” (Jesus) come whose right it is; and I will give it him.

so does Christ lied to Pilate ??

Jn 18:37 “You are a king, then!” said Pilate.
Jesus answered, “You are right in saying I am a king. In fact, for this reason I was born, and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.”

    PIERRE.

    Just to refresh your mind:

john18:33.—pilate ask Jesus; art thou the king of the jews?

v.34. Jesus answered him; sayest thou this thing of thyself,or did others tell it thee of me??

v.36. Jesus answered;MY KINGDOM IS NOT OF THIS WORLD: IF MY KINGDOM WERE OF THIS WORLD, THEN WOULD MY SERVANTS FIGHT, THAT I SHOULD NOT BE DELIVERED TO THE JEWS; BUT NOW IS MY KINGDOM NOT FROM HENCE.

V.37.PILATE ASK HIM; ART THOU A KING THEN? JESUS ANSWERED; THOU SAYEST — THAT I AM A KING,(you said it).
To this end was I born,And for this cause came I into the world,That I should bear witness to the truth, every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

He was born to witness to the truth and (future) to rule as king; in his own kingdom.

    wakeup.

Jesus was crowned a king after he ascended to heaven, but he has not yet received his kingdom yet.

Hi Georg, welcome to this thread!
I believe your presence is needed here brother!

The point I make is: “The Crown” has existed ever since “Saul”.
The Crown was taken by the northern 10 tribes, then YHVH reunited
the 2 southern tribes. The crown was brought over the Caucuses mountains,
And first settled in Europe: in Scotland; which later moved to England. Where the
“United Kingdom” is ruling from. Ephraim is considered England and Manasseh U.S.A.

PLEASE do weigh in on this all important Biblical Prophecy (Jer.33:17) concerning “The Crown”.

I don't know where you got your information from, but your way off.

God never recognized the northern ten tribes as his kingdom, they were the rebels, remember?

The crown remained with the southern two tribes, and they lost it when the Babylonians invaded in 605 BC.

After 70 AD, there was not even a kingdom left; what good is a king, if you have no people to rule over.
No kingdom, no king, no throne, no crown.

I thought I explained that already.

I agree with your assessment as far as England being the descendants of Ephraim, and the USA are the descendants of Manasseh, but they have nothing to do with the crown.

    Hi Georg, not so!
Then we are ready to begin this study!

1 Kings 11:28-33 And the man Jeroboam was a mighty
man of valor: and Solomon seeing the young man that he was industrious,
he made him ruler over all the charge of the house of Joseph (Ephraim and Manasseh).

                                     Ahijah the Prophet
                                    (worshiper of YHVH)

And it came to pass at that time when Jeroboam went out of Jerusalem, that
the prophet Ahijah the Shilonite found him in the way; and he had clad himself
with a new garment; and they two were alone in the field: And Ahijah caught the
new garment that was on him, and rent it in twelve pieces:
    And he said to Jeroboam,

                                        The Prophecy

Take thee ten pieces: for thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, Behold, I will rend
the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon, and
will give ten tribes to thee:
    (But he shall
have one tribe for my servant David's sake, and for Jerusalem's sake, the city which I have
chosen out of all the tribes of Israel:) Because that they have forsaken me, and have
worshiped Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, Chemosh the god of the Moabites,
and Milcom the god of the children of Ammon, and have not walked in my ways
    , to do that
which is right in mine eyes, and to keep my statutes and my judgments, as did David his father.

                                       The Prophecy

Take thee ten pieces: for thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, Behold, I will rend
the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon, and will give ten tribes to thee: (But he shall

    ———————————————————-

I split it up so you can read it better.
Do you think God is honoring these tribes for their rebellion?
Go back to the upper part and read what they worshiped.

The ten tribes were conquered by the Assyrians in 722 BC, they were long gone when the two tribes, southern kingdom Judah was captured, in 605 BC, and they still had a crown then, they were
The ones that lost their crown and were overturned three times.

Eze 21:25 And thou, profane wicked prince of Israel, whose day is come, when iniquity shall have an end,

Eze 21:26 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Remove the diadem, and take off the crown: this shall not be the same: exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high.

Eze 21:27   I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him.
