    Hi Abe,

The “HolySpirit” is the “Father of Spirits” that's how.
“spirit gives birth to spirit” – were those not YOUR words?

before they (Mary & Joseph) came together (consummating their marriage),
“she was found with “child of the HolySpirit”. (Matt 1:18)
“that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called “the Son of GOD”.” (Luke 1:35)

The HolySpirit is the father of Jesus Christ, therefore the “Father of Spirit's” and GOD!

“Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart part of to lie to the HolySpirit, and to keep back
the price of the land? Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power?
why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.” (Acts 5:3-4)

    Hi Abe, I sure can:

    1) First you need to understand biblical terminology:
Jerusalem (in the spiritual sense) means Jesus Christ
Mt. Zion (in the spiritual sense) means God's “HolySpirit”

“The first man (Adam) is of the earth, earthy:
the second man (Jesus) is the Lord from heaven.” (1Cor.15:47)

    2) “If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him,
and we(A & B) will come unto him, and make our abode(A & B) with him.” (John 14:23)

    “WE” & “OUR ABODE” is:
    A. The “HolySpirit”
    B. The “Spirit of Christ”

This is confirmed in the following verse:

“But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit [(C.) YOUR Spirit], if so be that (A.)the Spirit of God dwell in you.
Now if any man have not (B.)the Spirit of Christ (ref. Heb.9:28), he is none of his.” (Romans 8:9)

    A. “Spirit of God” (A.K.A. the HolySpirit)
    B. “Spirit of Christ” (these are the same “WE”)

    C. And “OUR ABODE” happens when one is baptized with God's HolySpirit,
enabling us to cry out to by (the Spirit of His Son in our hearts) “Abba! Father!”

    God bless

    Hi Abe,

    1) Not quite, what I said was:
one is the “Spirit of God” and
the other is the “Spirit of Christ”.

    2) Are you saying that YOUR SPIRIT does not exist?
There is only “One Spirit” that is “GOD”; and
the spirit of Christ is not THAT SPIRIT.

“That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me,
and I in thee, that they also may be one in us:” (John 17:21)

When you become one with God does that mean you will no longer have a spirit of your own?         (<– I say "No", what say you?)

No Nick, “The Word” that Jesus spoke was that of his Father.

“For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment,
what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting:
whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.”  (John 12:49-50)
