The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), is a telescope located about 1.5 million kilometres (1 million miles) from Earth. That is around four times the distance from Earth to the Moon. Just like Hubble Telescope, it’s main function is to view galaxies, stars, and other celestial objects, but in much greater detail. It will however, provide unprecedented views of much older celestial systems and objects because the telescope will see in infrared. The reason for viewing in infrared is simple. The universe is expanding and the first stars and galaxies have had their visible wavelengths shifted into the infrared part of the spectrum. Hubble was not able to detect these objects, so JWST will show us new never seen before images of the early universe. So what will the telescope reveal?
The telescope should provide some mind blowing images of the universe which may lead to answers about the universe. Regardless, the telescope will help reveal the eternal nature of God and his glory.
While we wait for images of the early universe from JWST, here is a look at what a much lesser telescope (Hubble) took. Checkout those galaxies. Maybe these are the heavens. And look at the centre of the spirals. Looks like the tunnel that people see when experiencing an NDE. Imagine if the centre of each galaxy was a portal to Heaven itself. So many possibilities. An eternity to learn about God and his creation.

Of course, we will see much better images once all the instruments have come into alignment.
I am excited about what the telescope will reveal. God’s handiwork is incredible. the universe shows his eternal nature.
