    Hi Terra.

I will not make it a habit to have a debate with an atheist.
It will only cause them to blaspheme more and more.

    wakeup.

Matthew 4:8 (Luke 4:5 also) Jesus and Satan could see all the kingdoms of the world from a high mountain in the Middle East. That means they could see through the earth's crust and mantle, which is made of molten rock.

Job 39 doesn't say anything about unicorns being pink, although t8 thinks they should be referred to as such.

Numbers 22 isn't clear about whether the LORD manipulates the vocal tracts of donkeys by witchcraft, or that donkeys can speak for themselves.

    Hope that helps.

Tim's given you the stats and the bible verses, and you've just reacted with stuff that you reckon off the top of your head.

In what sense did you feel that you were “debating”?

Will your answer like your answer in the fairies thread? Is it the entire book of Judges?

    Just cureous T8,
which part of stu's post was in error of what the bible says?

Mat 4:8 “Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. 9 “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.”

When God show shows something it is in vision format.
The high mountain obviously threw Stu, but people often went to such places so they could pray and not be interrupted. It had nothing to do with the view as Stu thinks.

Much of the bible itself is a record of visions and words given to each author. God doesn't show you things as if he was a man. Did you guys expect a person wearing a tee-shirt with God written on it saying look over there, that is Tonga. I mean when John was shown Heaven and the River of Life, do you think that he was on a really high mountain to see that? :D

So like I said, Stu shows his own ignorance when he tries to be clever. He ends up showing us how little he knows and hence why he is the way he is I suppose. Ignorance makes people say the silliest of things. Makes me laugh, and Stu still probably thinks he's intelligent. Someone had to say it, so thanks for asking the question and giving me the opportunity to show his error.

So they didn't need to go up the mountain at all then.

They could have practiced the witchcraft of seeing visions of the other side of the earth from anywhere.

    Stu.

Jesus was taken up into the spirit realm, and shown the furure.

One example: Ezekiel 3:14 So the spirit LIFTED ME UP, and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the LORD was strong

So, did they go up a mountain, or not? I'm just reading what it says in scripture. Obviously I'd be relying on you to tell me that it is a bad idea to read what is written in scripture.

Huge difference between clinical death (heart stops working) and biological death. (Actual death, brain function ceases)

The two aren't comparable and I don't know why the idea or wording of “clinical death” even exists.

Saying someone is clinical dead doesn't mean they are dead: their brain is still functioning. And it's functioning with less oxygen.

Exactly. A near-death experience is not a death experience, and it certainly isn't an after-death experience.

    Stu.

The first coming was when he was born.
The second coming is to destroy this oppressing world, for it is always the poor that get struck down.

The wealthy live on that platform, where they easily can get
more and more wealthy, and they start to work together to oppress the poor more and more.

At the coming things will be the other way around; the poor will be their masters.Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

The poor in spirit, for there are also the wicked poor.
