Terra, God uses all sorts of people to fulfill his word.
Such likes as TT and WJ are necessary evils to help you hone your spirit on
For what is it if your friends say “Yes, Terra, you are right” even if you were wrong in parts – You then compound your wrong or rest in the pleasure of the praise of your friends.A vessel must be tested before it can be deemed whole – God will test his vessels in ways unseeming to you.
TT, I have added some comments regarding Hebrews 1:5 in another post…
Let them test you – let them find fault – they are actually helping you (I have written similar in another post before seing this one so you will know I said it before)

this is the reason why Christ got killed by the doctors of the law and the pharisees.January 19, 2010 at 6:20 pm#170897KangarooJackParticipantQuote (terraricca @ Jan. 20 2010,05:08) hi TT and WJ
this is the reason why Christ got killed by the doctors of the law and the pharisees.
Christ was killed by men who denied He was the Son of God and equal with God.John 5:18: “Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God”.
If you would have been there you would have wanted to kill Him because He made Himself EQUAL with God.

no you are wrong here that day wen he say that he was before Abraham they did not kill him they could not find him.and i want to bring to your attention that it was the pharisees who assumed that he make himself equal to God,not the scriptures,or the disciples.
so if you put your faith in men then you believe the pharisees if not ,look up the scriptures.

You're wrong! Read the verse again. It was the apostle John who said that Jesus made Himself equal with God.
“Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God.”
Who is it that said that Jesus made Himself equal with God? It is the narrator who said that Jesus made Himself equal with God. It was the apostle John.
So John took Jesus' words the same way the Jews took them.

it is funny how people like to believe anything presented to them ,father and son are not equal unless
you try to convinced someone by using your status as to influence the outcome,of your point of view.son is son
father is father ,Go to the bank and see if you can convinced them that you are equal to your father and for that reason you are in title to his account

Your argument that father and son are not equal is erroneous because in ancient Hebrew culture the firstborn son took the father's place in ruling over the family. This is why John said that Jesus made Himself EQUAL with God because as the Son Jesus takes the Father's place in ruling over us.
I started this thread with a verse which proves Christ's equality. Jesus said that the Father would send the Holy Spirit “in My name.” This means “on My authority.” The Father acted on the Son's authority as the Son acted on the Father's authority. This proves their equality.
But none of you anti-christians will answer this point.

in the Hebrew culture the son take over anytime wen he feel he is ready he kicks the father out and take is place ?
Jn 1:18 No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, who is at the Father’s side, has made him known.Jn 5:19 Jesus gave them this answer: “I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.
this is because God tells all things to the son,and the son tells it to is righteous ones.
Jn 5:26 For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son to have life in himself.
so the father as granted the gift of live to the son, this does not mean that the son is the father.
Jn 5:30 By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me.
the Son always pleases is father the one who send him, big difference between father and son the lower serves the higher.
Jn 5:37 And the Father who sent me has himself testified concerning me. You have never heard his voice nor seen his form,
Jn 5:38 nor does his word dwell in you, for you do not believe the one he senthere it is this is why people do not understand the scriptures and are blind to there meanings see what Christ said in JN 5;38 nor does his word (GOD WORD) dwell in you.
Jn 5:43 I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not accept me
here Jesus said it again he come in his fathers name, but the trinitarians do not like that they want to make Jesus God this would please their father the devil, the pharisees did not wanted to recognise Christ and the trinitarians do not want to recognise God the father as Christ tell them.
Yet you are ready to kill me, because you have no room for my word.
Jn 8:38 I am telling you what I have seen in the Father’s presence, and you do what you have heard from your father.’”yes whoever does not come with the words of Christ comes from the devil.
Jn 8:58 “I tell you the truth,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!”
Jn 8:59 At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds.it does not say that he is” equal to the father”this is John book
Jn 9:39 Jesus said, “For judgment I have come into this world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind.”
blessed are the ones who can see.

t,Your statement about a son kicking out the father is total nonsense! The Father Himself exalted His Son to rule in His place over us. Come on! It was the Father who made Christ the Head over us. Again, Come on! You're getting ridiculous now.
None of the verses you gave about Christ being under the Father apply today. Those statements were made BEFORE Christ was exalted to God's right hand. At the right hand of His Father Jesus has “ALL authority in heaven and in earth.” Jesus rules over everything in His Father's place.
Jesus did not “kick out” the Father. Come on! Don't be silly! The Father Himself committed ALL things into His Son's hands.
Really!

t,So you didn't like it did you? You were making it look like I was saying that Jesus kicked out the Father. So I gave it back to you and you didn't like it.
Now answer my point. In Hebrew culture the Son took the Father's place in ruling over the family. Once the Son took over he had EQUAL authority with the Father. Christ took the Father's place in ruling over us. So He has EQUAL authority with His Father. Jesus said:
All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. Matthew 11:27)
There it is! Jesus said that His Father delivered ALL things into His hands. He even said that He reveals the Father to whomosever He wills.
The Son revealed the Father to you of His own will. He has EQUAL authority with God. This is why the Jews wanted to kill Him. They knew that His claim to be the Son of God meant that He was EQUAL with God.
IT WAS THE SON WHO REVEALED THE FATHER TO YOU!

To believe Jesus is the Son of God is to believe that He is EQUAL with God. In Hebrew culture the officiating son was EQUAL with the father. The Jews knew this and Jesus knew what they would think when He claimed to be the Son of God.Again, in Hebrew culture the officiating son was EQUAL with the father. Jesus is the officiating son.
