Quote The lamb is worthy of all the honor, glory and blessings that God has given him, so now will you please confess that the Lamb is not God. also remember you cannot call the lamb “”God” lest you sin and say the Most High is the image of a beast such as a lamb which is a created thing.
bd,
At least you are doing better than Nick. He suggests that all God's servants are worthy as the Lamb. I will not recant my confession that Christ is God. I would rather be burned at the stake. The Father Himself confesses that the Son is God,Quote Your throne O God is forever and ever….For You Lord, has from the beginning laid the foundations of the earth. And the heavens are the works of Your hands (Heb. 1:8-10). The Father addressed the Son calling Him “GOD” and attributed to Him the creation of the heavens and the earth. Men are commanded to honor the Son EVEN as they honor the Father (John 5:23).

Many have foolishly died and killed others in defense of such folly so no relevance there.
God is not His Son so you accept polytheism?June 14, 2009 at 11:41 pm#133464KangarooJackParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ June 15 2009,11:24) Hi TT,
Read again.
Why do you defend the indefensible?
Kicking against the goad is not advisable yet you teach what Jesus did not teach. You have no qualms about meeting him on this basis?
Nick,
I asked you a simple question. Are you as worthy as the Lamb because you are a servant? The twenty-four elders were servants and they did not receive the honor the Lamb received. THEY FELL DOWN AND WORSHIPED! The angels of God are also servants. Yet they are commanded to worship the Son (Heb. 1).If all the servants of God are worthy of the same honor as the Lamb, then why do all the servants of God of both men and angels worship the Lamb? Your view does not compute Nick.

I am in no way telling you to not honor the son of God in fact all I am doing is trying to make clear to you that the Most High is not his son and they like all of those who embrace God have UNITY of Purpose we are all one but we are not all the Most High or The Christ.God has indeed blessed you and you have sought out the truth faithfully and now even more is being added unto you but once again you have shown with your own words:
“God has blessed me. He tells me to EQUALLY honor His Son and I do it.”
You say yourselgf that God has told you to equally honor His son and with that statement you destroy the trinity in your own mind because you have understood that God is not his son nor is his son truly God because you said “God” told you.
God Bless You Always!

Do you honor the Son equally as you honor the Father? Yes or no?If I am a polytheist then so are the twenty-four elders. For a polytheist is one who worships more than one God. The twenty-four elders worshiped both God and the Lamb. And the Father commanded the angels of God to worship the Son (Heb. 1). Therefore, God commands “polytheism.”
I am a monotheist Nick. I believe that there is one God who exists as three Peraons.

If you have two equals you do not have one.
God is one.You should honour the Son as you honour the Father as He speaks for Him.
The same went for the prophets but like Jesus instead they were killed.
The prophets were not our God and neither is the Son of GodJune 15, 2009 at 12:00 am#133474KangarooJackParticipantbodhitharta said:

If I am contradicting myself then explain why the Father calls the Son “God” and also says to the Son “your God.”Quote Your throne O God is, forever and ever….Therefore Your God has anointed you….(Heb. 1:8) You think that the distinction between God and Son is a distinction in kind when it is not. It is an ordinal distinction. God calls His Son “God” and at the same time says to Him “Your God.” Then the Father attributed creation to the Son.
So if I am contradicting myself then so is the Father. I am still waiting for your “death blow.”

Your serviceto it causes you to cling to any hope of dissonance in the Word of God that would support the trinity folly.God is not in that work.
