Ge 1:5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.

how long do you think the first Day was ????

    T,

The sun was not yet created.

Where is you logic Kerwin; there is no “FIRST DAY” without the Sun.

The “Sun” was created on “The FIRST Day” along with the earth, and the rotation of the earth.

And God said, Let there be light(Sun): and there was light.
4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness(axis rotation).
5 And God called the light (daytime) Day, and the darkness (nightime) he called Night.
And the evening and the morning were the first day.  (Gen 1:3-5)

what is the “firmament of the heaven ” The firmament is the sky, conceived as a solid dome.[1] According to Genesis, God created the firmament to separate the “waters above” (the source of rain) from those below (in the underworld). The word is anglicised from Latin firmamentum, which appears in the Vulgate.

please review the creation of the fourth day ,

what God created the first day ,and that is called light is the spectrum of light ,

NO,this is were all started;Ge 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

this is were all the solar systems planets suns have been created I mean the entire universe, raw as we can see it with our electronics today,

    but the creation of the transformation of the earth this starts here ;

Ge 1:2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

Ge 1:3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.

    Hi Pierre,

As Science suggests we have “Time”, “Space” and “Matter”.

        1. Time
        2. Space
        3. Matter

    (1)In the beginning God created
    (2)the heaven and
    (3)the earth. (Gen 1:1)

The “Sun” was also created on Day 1, and along with
the earth, the rotation of the earth on its axis began.

        4. Creation of our Sun
        5. Axis rotation of Earth

    And God said,
(4)Let there be light (The Sun): and there
was light . And God saw the light, that it was good: and
(5)God divided the light from the darkness (Axis rotation – “Spin”).

And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night.
And the evening and the morning were “The FIRST Day”.  (Gen 1:3-5)

if you have knowledge you should not say that ,the reason why I told you this is because I know that you take for granted that all was created in the fourth day ,but really do not demonstrate what is happen on the first day ,and what you say is created does not make sense to me ,,I so do not feel to discuss this subject with you ,because I can already see were you are going to go with it ,

so I disagree with you on this ,and do not want to discuss it further.love you just the same :)

    T,

God created the physical laws of light; as there was no light but him previously. All was darkness and night. The Sun is just a source of light.

Since there was no Sun the night/day cycle was not speaking of the night/day cycle of Earth.
