I had a weird dream last nite. What I am about to explain may be a bit offensive to some Im not sure but I am sorry if it does offend you.
anyway, unfortunately I dont remember every detail of the dream anymore which is usually the case for me after I wake up however the main part that stood out to me was this….
I was in the passenger seat of a car with someone driving… not sure who the person was driving nor did i see the person.. i dont think… I remember talking to the person.
As we were driving down the road there was a car in front of us and a car coming towards us on the other side of the road.
The car in front of us and the car coming towards us seemed to recognise each other and pulled over off the road. They were doing something I knew to be sinful… like sex in the car.
As we were slowly driving past i noticed what I thought was a female in the back seat of the car.. she was wearing a camisole and her back towards us and there were these two lumps on her back which I thought was weird. As I looked closely at the lumps it looked like bones sticking out that had been cut off… then i immediately thought… gosh she had her wings cut off.
And that was all i remember vividly of the dream. I have been dreaming a few times since I started reading the bible about certain events that involve the bible, ie: me being in amidst a congregation praising the lord and so on.
Amazes me a lot lately.
Any thoughts?

Hi phoenix,
Pretty vivid dream.Im' not able to interperet others dreams, as Joseph and others like him did. But here's what I think..
God calls us to Him, and we hear His voice and want to seek Him.
The Devil knows what's going on in our lives what movies have influenced us, what means something special to us, like a belief as a child, so it can sometimes be played out in our dreams.
Have a think about what's going on in your life, who is in your life, friends ect, and what you used to believe the good and the not so good, ask God to show you through His eyes so you can see.
Sometimes dreams are like watching a movie of our lives, bits of this and that all in together,you know, stuff like that.
If you don't mind me asking…What were your beliefs before now?

Thats how my ex and I got together 27 years ago. Wow I cant believe I actually forgot about that. Before now?? I was bad. Right up till June 2005 I was a heavy drinker and would party a lot and yeah.

PhoenixThere is another Dream that I had shortly after attending this Baptist church down the road from my house…right before I started to attend this church that I'm at now.
Its sort of weird …but most dreams are. I was on vacation…in New York…and the Pastor from that baptist church came up to me and he was “Ironically” enough on vacation there as well too. He asked me had I been to Jerusalem to see the tomb of Jesus and all that stuff in that country…that since the United States had conquered most of the world…we now had a direct ship that went from NY to Jerusalem in about 15 minutes.
I said “Sure!” I had always wanted to see those things over there. So we make way to the Dock to catch the ship…and I realize that I don't have enough money for the “Fair” to get on the ship…and he says…”Don't worry about it, I'll get it” So, we wait around there for what seemed like about 5 minutes or so…and this HUGE wooden ship…like a Viking ship, that was about the size of the Liverpool Titanic comes sailing up.
And…where you “Board” the ship stopped right where we were standing, and this little dock plate flaps out right in front of us and there was a Man clothed in pure white robes…like the statue in the “Holy Land” where I remember that I seen a “Passion Play” when I was little. And, he was holding his hand out saying “Come” in the most peaceful voice that I believe that I've ever heard in my life. He didn't even charge us to come aboard.
As soon as we had boarded and the ship started to take off…there came a MASSIVE STORM one to the likes that I've never seen or heard about in all my life…the storm in that movie “The Perfect Storm” was small compared to this one.
We were both instantly “Thrown” to the back of the ship (the part of the ship where Jack and Rose first in the movie The Titanic…only this was a wooden Viking / Pirate like ship) And we found ourselves holding on to the wooden railing with everything we had. I remember him telling me to hold on, and not let go. Then the winds died and the ship stopped and we get off sure enough on the other side and pass through this huge industrial complex…where there was this big room that you had to wait like every 30 mins to go through…or a bottomless pit would swallow you up.
So we rent a hover craft and fly right to the places we wanted to go.When we got back the whole complex had been destroyed by the storm…and people were working very hard to get the dock repaired so that the ship could dock again.
Time went on and on, and the pastor that I was with said “Forget this, I'm going to swim back”…I said “Are you crazy!? We'll be killed!” He says “Its better than waiting here!”
So…like an Idiot I jump in with him and we start to swim.The waters were tossing back and forth so hard, that I could barley stay afloat. And, it was at that point that I was about to sink…and I was already drowning…and my head had fallen under the water. When I said “Help me Jesus!” And a hand reached down and jerked me out of the water!
Then I awoke in a very cold sweat.

But your dream.
It seems to have been about a frustrating dead end.
Could it have been related to following a false traditional religious idea that seemed right but was not?

Many folk are cruising along in their reliance on their pastors, who are following the whore.
They do make huge assumptions and live life according to their whims and their fancies.
However God is serious and is about to give the whore and whoever is is her a very rough ride.

Your most likely right.I do feel like GOD wants me to go to this church that I'm going to though.
The pastor there is a very good man, but I have noticed that some people really do sort of “Ride” on him…or…well…What I'm trying to say is that they would go ask him about something if they were having a problem …before they would pray to GOD. Which I really don't think is a wonderful Idea.I mean asking about some scripture or …I don't know. I just feel some sort of spirit there.
The man is a wonderful man of GOD though. Probably the second most humble paster I've ever met in my life.
On the other hand…some people just don't have enough FAITH on their own…or they are not spiritually mature enough to handle their self. In which case I suppose that its good to converge with one another …in this case they choose to do it with their pastor.
No, I believe the dream means that “whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved”. Thank God for Jesus.
