    @NickHassan
    you said:

    Since you have appointed him a god then perhaps you and other religious folk who do not know his God, the Father.

    Were you done with your thought? Or were you just getting started? Did you want to complete your statement?

    Are you a created being and ultimately will you be among those who are bowing down to the one on the throne and to the Lamb (both are referred to as theos, btw, as you admit)?

    Rev 5:13

    And every created thing which is in the heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and on the sea, and all things that are in them, heard I saying, Unto him that sitteth on the throne, and unto the Lamb, be the blessing, and the honour, and the glory, and the dominion, for ever and ever.

    Hi LU,

    I already bow to him.

    He is my Lord.

    But his God is my God.

    Hi LU,

    The Father is our God and the God of Jesus.

    But you would offer more gods?

    Is Jesus not your Lord?

    That is good that you bow to two who are identified as a theos in scripture, Nick.

    Don’t forget that men can be called theos and angels too. And God even says that some will bow down to men.

    I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars–I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you.

    To be fair you need to add that into your Godhead, otherwise you are cherry picking what suits your predefined doctrine.

    It is you who has problems trying to fit your doctrine with scripture. For us, there is one God the Father. He is the one true God. Amen.

    Ours is a simple faith. It is hard to persuade us away from it. People who claim to be wise and intellectual about all this stuff have in reality become fools.

    Hi LU,

    Is bowing down what you call worship?

    True worship is defined differently in scripture. Jn4

    Will EVERYONE be bowing down to Him in the end, t8? Is He Lord of ALL, t8?

    Yes he will be honoured as the Lamb of God. God will of course be honoured as God. Written right there in Revelation.

    Yes he is the Lord. God made him Lord. He is Lord of all except God. He is under God. The head of Christ is God.

    He is at the right-hand of God. Have you heard the saying “right-hand man”? That means that he is the most trusted person from someone in higher authority. And of course it goes without saying that the right-hand man is not the one who is to his left right.

    Jesus is at the right-hand of God. He is not that God, that is the Father.

    Feel free to compete with God’s truth. But you will lose.

    Amen.

    @NickHassan

    So we have the facts that we agree on:
    The Father and the Son are two persons who are referred to as theos somewhere in scriptures and those two persons are both given, by every created thing, the honor of having the blessing, and the honour, and the glory, and the dominion, for ever and ever.

    That represents a godhead, my friends. It really doesn’t matter if there is a distinction of roles or relationship for them both to have the blessing, the honour, the glory, and the dominion for ever and ever.

    Hi LU,
    Yes many are called gods.
    Are all these gods in your godhead?

    Hi LU,
    Why are you fascinated with intellectual theories about God when you can know Him and His son?

    @NickHassan
    Please follow along…only two called god are acknowledged to have dominion forever by every created thing. Can you name them?

    It is not theory, we all agree that the two persons who are given all dominion for ever and ever are both called a theos. The term ‘godhead’ is completely applicable. No need to take on the church about that…go for unity. That is Jesus’ prayer for us.

    Are you not yet one in Spirit with God and His son?
    Unity with the false church that God hates is unwise

    Hi LU,
    You started by telling us that Jesus was a god and having been shown that many can be called gods now redefine him as a special god. This is all in defence of the offensive [to God] dogmas of the false church? Who is your master?

    Hi LU,
    What is a godhead?

    A godhead would be an authority made up of all of those with eternal dominion over all created beings for ever and ever.

    Hi LU,
    Does this align with the two occasions the word is used in the KJV or did you make it up?

    @NickHassan
    The definition that I gave is suitable to its use. Jesus has full authority in heaven and on earth over all created things. So does the Father.

    Hi LU,

    But you are not appointed to make such definitions

    Scripture can speak.

    Godhead as used in the kjv has two different meanings, neither of which matches your new one.

    Truth is truth, no matter who speaks it Nick. Scripture tells us who has dominion over all created beings. That would be the Father AND the Son. The truth of a Godhead, i.e. those with ultimate dominion over creation, has been established in this scripture. Words can have slightly different meanings depending on contexts, Nick.

    We have:
    Head of State
    Head of Congress
    Head of the family
    Head of creation = Godhead, the Father and the Son are both in this position as we have seen in scripture and are both a theos.
