No man is saved by the Law because we all fall short of it. We have all broken God’s commandments at some point.
However, this does not mean that all under the Law are condemned to destruction. No way. Was Moses perfect? No. Was he condemned to destruction? No. All those who were faithful under the Law and those who only had the law written in their hearts (conscience) can be saved because of the death of our messiah who died for all mankind and for all time.
Romans 2:11-13
11 For there is no partiality with God.
12 For all who have sinned without the Law will also perish without the Law, and all who have sinned under the Law will be judged by the Law;
13 for it is not the hearers of the Law who are just before God, but the doers of the Law will be justified.…Notice that it doesn’t say that you have to be perfect under the law or sinless, rather that if you were or are under the Law, then you must be a doer of the Law. And we already know that Christ died for mankind, so we are made perfect by him. Our shortfall is covered by him so to speak.
If Christ did not die for us, then there would be no salvation because there is no one perfect. We have all sinned and fall short of God’s glory. Thus, our souls would die if it were not for the free gift of salvation.
So those who were doers of the Law in times past are also saved also by the grace of God.

Yeshua, who was born under the Law, was completely obedient to the Law and fulfilled it.
Being sinless he did not need the washing by John but fulfilled all righteousness.
Then he offered a new way through men being joined with him and attaining salvation under his robe.

The law has not disappeared and those who seek salvation through it will find it impossible because now perfection is the standard.
Thus the synagogue is now called the synagogue of Satan.

Moses did not have to live by.
God will not hold him responsible for not living by it.
Instead he will judge him on his faith because a person lives by the Spirit through faith.March 7, 2015 at 5:04 pm#790229ProclaimerParticipantThe Law is the standard, and we all fall short. Grace covers the shortfall which is only possible by the blood of the Lamb of God which covers all sin for all men and all time. Not all receive this grace however because some have rejected God and his gift.

God wants those under the law to take on service to God and men in a positive way.
Ticking the boxes and trying not to transgress the law has never impressed God

The Law is the standard, and we all fall short
People misquote that verse quite often as it really states that “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” as in the past. They also only quote a portion of the verse.
Romans 3:21-25New English Translation (NET Bible)
21 But now apart from the law the righteousness of God (although it is attested by the law and the prophets) has been disclosed— 22 namely, the righteousness of God through the faithfulness of Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction, 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. 24 But they are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. 25 God publicly displayed him at his death as the mercy seat accessible through faith. This was to demonstrate his righteousness, because God in his forbearance had passed over the sins previously committed.
The only sins he forgives are those previously committed. Previous to what? I would say “the righteousness of God through the faithfulness of Jesus Christ for all who believe.” Ephesians says we are to put on the new man created like God in true righteousness and holiness.
Any doctrine that tells you that sin is not a serious enemy of those that seek redemption is one that is aimed to please the itching ears of those that love darkness. Those who hunger and thirst for righteousness can never except such a teaching though they may appear to and even being be deceived into believe they do. In the end their hunger and thirst will drive them to fill themselves.

The toll collector stood at a distance, didn’t even dare to look up to heaven, but beat his chest and said, “God, be at peace with me, sinner. (Luke 18:13) We should pray often. The outpouring of God’s Spirit occurred in response to sincere prayers. Note, however, the following fact about the disciples. The text says, “They were all together in one place. Suddenly there came a sound from heaven like the sound of a violent breath that filled the whole house where they were sitting. Tongues that seemed to be burning and separating from each other appeared to them and rested on each one of them. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit. “(Acts 2:1-4). They had not come together to exchange scandals. They were not looking for the slightest fault in each other. They were aware of their spiritual need and cried out to the Lord to receive the holy anointing that would enable them to overcome their infirmities and prepare them to save others. They prayed intensely that the love of Christ would be widely dispensed to them. The same need exists in every church today. “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature. Old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17) Everything that is reprehensible in character is purified by the love of Jesus. All selfishness is driven out, all envy, all tendency to criticize is uprooted and a radical transformation takes place in the heart. “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; the law is not against such things. “(Galatians 5:22,23) “The fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by peacemakers. “(James 3.18.) Paul said that as far as the law was concerned – as long as it was only about external acts – he was blameless. But when he wanted to discern the spiritual character of the law and looked into the holy mirror, he saw himself as a sinner. By the standards of men, he had not sinned. But when he probed the depths of God’s law and saw himself as God saw him, he bent his knees in humility and confessed his sin. (E.G. White – Review and herald, July 22, 1890.)
