    Hi,
God does want all to be saved.
That is why all are given a measure of faith.
    Romans 12:3
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
It must be used to respond to the Word of God.
    Romans 10:8
    But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
    For it grows.
    Romans 10:17
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
    Unto unity.
    Ephesians 4:13
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

    Hi Nick.
You say, “God does want all to be saved”.
God says, (Isaiah. 46:11), “All my desires will I do.” and “Indeed, I speak! Indeed, I will bring it about.”
Who is right, you or God?

    Blessings.

Strange answer, not biblical. Do you not believe that scripture? It's Gods word.

    Hi CO,
This presumptuous doctrine will be proven or disproven for you by events yet to come. I expect the latter because men do not love God, indeed hate Him, and will not respond to the generous wedding invitation.

    Hi Nick.
So we cross out with our pen, scripture Isaiah 46:11, as being wrong according to Nick. Any more scripture we should eliminate as untrue?

    Hi Co:

God will not intervene with your right to choose whether or not you want to serve him.  He will surely do what he says he will do.  There is not doubt about that, but did he say that every one will be saved?  Show me that scripture or scriptures that say that and I will believe the scripture.

Do you have a right to choose what you believe to be the truth of God's Word?   Well, so do I, and we have a right to disagree.  I am using this as an example of our right to choose.  Can you see that we have a right to choose?

Surely, it is God's will that no man should perish but that all should come to repentance, and that is what I would like as well.

    2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
    3:10
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

    Matt. 7:21
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

    Hi 942767.
Here are some scriptures that say God will save all mankind.

(1 Tim.2:4) …our saviour, God, Who wills all mankind be saved and come to the realization of the truth.

(1 Tim.4:9) …that we rely on the living God, Who is the saviour of all mankind, especially of believers.

(1 Cor.15:22) For even as, in Adam, all are dying, thus also, in Christ, shall all be vivified.

(John 3:17) For God does not dispatch His Son into the world that He should be judging the world, but that the world may be saved through Him.

(Col. 1:20) …and through Him to reconcile all to Him (making peace through the blood of His cross), through Him, wether those on earth or those in the heavens.

    Blessings.

(Col. 1:20)  …and through Him to reconcile all to Him (making peace through the blood of His cross), through Him, wether those on earth or those in the heavens.

But no, they do not say that all men will be saved.  1 Tim. 2:4 states: “Who wills all mankind be saved and come to the realization of the truth”  God does will this for all of humanity and this is what the following scripture that you quote means.

(1 Tim.4:9) …that we rely on the living God, Who is the saviour of all mankind, especially of believers.
Jesus has paid the judgment that was due to all men, and so, he has saved all of mankind if they choose to be saved.  If they choose to be reconciled to God through Jesus, the verdict is not guilty, but if not, every man will be judged according to his works.

    Re 20:13
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

    Re 21:8
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

1 Cor.15:22) For even as, in Adam, all are dying, thus also, in Christ, shall all be vivified.
This scripture says “thus also in Christ, shall all be vivified”.  Ac 17:31
Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

(John 3:17)  For God does not dispatch His Son into the world that He should be judging the world, but that the world may be saved through Him.
This scripture must be read in context with the following verses in order to get the complete understanding:

    3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
    3:17
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
    3:18
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
    3:19
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
    3:20
For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither * * cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
    3:21
But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Col. 1:20)  …and through Him to reconcile all to Him (making peace through the blood of His cross), through Him, wether those on earth or those in the heavens.

Again this scripture needs to read in context which follows:

    Col. 1:20
And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
    1:21
And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
    1:22
In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
    1:23
    If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

None of these scriptures state that all men will be saved.  It would be nice but no dice.

    God Bless

    Hi 942767.
I don't really believe your interpetation of what these scriptures mean, but I do respect your opinion. I quote from 1 Cor. 15:20-28. which describes the “Consummation”, the end of creation:

(Yet now Christ has been roused from among the dead, the Firstfruit of those who are reposing. For since, in fact, through a man came death, through a Man, also, comes the resurrection of the dead. For even as, in Adam, all are dying, thus also, in Christ, shall all be vivified. Yet each in his own class: the Firstfruit, Christ; thereupon those who are Christ's in His presence;thereafter the consummation, whenever He may be giving up the kingdom to His God and Father, whenever He should be nullifying all sovereignty and all authority and power. For He must be reigning until He should be placeing all His enemies under His feet. The last enemy is being abolished: death. For He subjects all under His feet. Now whenever He may be saying that all is subject, it is evident that it is outside of Him Who subjects all to Him. Now, whenever all may be subjected to Him, then the Son Himself also shall be subjected to Him Who subjects all to Him, that God may be All in all.

What sums up the whole question of salvation, I believe, that last verse that says God will be “All in all”. What else could that possibly mean? If it were not so, that statement would have to say “All in some”.

    Blessings.

It might mean “all in all [the church]”, as opposed to “all in all [humanity]”

    Hi Nick.
“God will be All in all.” The greek word for all is”alles”, this same word “alles” is used in both the “all” in this scripture. So if the first all in “God will be ALL…, is the same all as the second all…in all, then both “all's” mean the same. So if you state that both “all's” do not mean the same in this scripture, then you are also saying that, “God will NOT be ALL….” . So you see, if you look up the 'Interlinear Scripure Analyser', you will see that both “all's” in this scripture have to mean the same thing, or then we can throw correct grammer out the window. What chaos would scripture be in if you are right!

    Blessings.

What of those Christ says he does not know, those who have no part with him, the ones who trample the message and deny the Son of God? Are these among the all denying the words of Christ?
