That verse is not in the original transcript. It is added.
There are too many other Scriptures that tell you that the Spirit is God's Holy Spirit. Consider this too:” If the Holy Spirit is a person, then he is the Father of Jesus. And that is not so. The Trinity is 3in1, and Scriptures says that:”
Ephesians 4:6 one God and Father of all, who is above all and in us all.”
By Jesus own words in
John 14:28 ….For my Father is greater then I.”
You really believe that Jesus first said this and then said what John 16:13 says. That contradicts all big time.
When there is more then one Scriptures we should look at it, why is that.
1 Corinth. 8:4 ” And that there is none other God but one.”
Deut. 4:35 ” Unto Thee it was shewed, that mightiest knows that the LORD He is God, there is none beside Him.”Deut. 6:4 “Hear O Israel, the LORD our God He is one LORD.”
In the old Testament God the Father is always when it says LORD in capital letters.
Where did it originate? The Old Testament Christians until A.D. 155 where killed by the Millions. All the Apostles too, except John. He was exiled to the Island of Pedmus, were He wrote Revelation.
It was a a man Quintus Septimus Florens Tertullian that came up with the trinity. It is said that the trinity was his best achievement. He was born in Carthage Africa to Pagan Parents. He was educated in philosophy, Greek and Latin.
I thought that I already told you all of this? Also what I find so ironic that Jesus and the Father is mentioned in all of the Letters at the beginning of each one. Yet the Holy Spirit never was.
It was Constantine in A.D. 313 that issued an edit granting all
Christian full freedom to practice their religion. In
A.D. 321 He issued an edit forbidding to work on Sundays, and making it a day of worship.
That is were all the changes started.
In A.D. 324 Constantine established Christianity His official religion of His empire. It will be known as the Roman Universal Church. There is so much more Ancient History, that shows what and when more changed like the Calendar and all Feast like Christmas and Easter. God's Holy Days are listed in Lev.23
All in History Books and National Geography. What makes me so sad, what
Math. 15:9 says:” In vain do they worship me, teaching the doctrine the commandment of men.” We have children and grandchildren in the Baptist Church/

So, the ministry of the Holy Spirit is not to exalt Himself. And I do think that when as a church we start making a big emphasis upon the Holy Spirit, we are placing an emphasis where God hasn't placed an emphasis.
For the emphasis of the Holy Spirit is upon Jesus Christ.
He doesn't testify of Himself, but He glorifies and seeks to glorify Jesus Christ.
“And He will tell us things to come.”
Paul the apostle was directed by the Holy Spirit in his ministry.
And he was shown by the Spirit the things that were going to happen in his life.
I have had a very marvelous experience of having the Holy Spirit lay out for me the things that God had in store and was planning to do in my life.
And the Holy Spirit will testify of things to come and will glorify Jesus Christ.

What is truth? the word of God is truth.
Where does the word come from? from the mind/spirit of God.
It is God's Holy Spirit that will enter into the mind/spirit of a believer and guide him in all things.
That is why the Spirit does not speak of himself, “he” speaks of God because, “he” is of God.Georg

The Spirit as the Father's influence can manifest itself in many ways. The holy Spirit was used to baptize 'Elohim's people(Mat 3:11; Acts 1:5; 2:2-3; 10:44-48). It fills them (Acts 2:4; Eph 5:18), is poured out on them (Acts 2:17, 18, 33; Joel 2:28, 29), abides in and dwells in them (John 14:17; Rom 8:9,11; 1 Cor 3:16), is upon them (John 1:32-33; Acts 19:6) and they are in it (Rom 8:9, 14, 17; Gal 3:3).
The holy Spirit is used to anoint (Psa 133: 1-2; Luke 4:18; Isa 61:1; 2 Cor 1:21; 1 John 2:20-27).
'Elohim's people drink it (1 Cor 12:13).
It is the down payment they make on their inheritance (2 Cor 1:22; 5:5; Eph 1:14, see margin), that which seals them (Eph 1:13, 4:30).
It is the symbolic ink whereby they are inscribed as living epistles (2 Cor 3:3), and is given to them and they possess it (Luke 11:13).
It is like dew (Psa 113:3).
This does not fit the description of a person.

ConAnd yet the Lord is the Spirit!
Now “the Lord is the Spirit“, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 2 Cor 3:17
