Critizising other Religions
The Lord is universal but the human beings in the universe differ in their attitudes. The same single Lord adopts a different procedure in a different region and such different procedure appears as a different religion. A few criticize the Lord of other religion. You are criticizing your own Lord of your own religion. The external behavior of the Lord differs due to different internal and external behaviors of the human beings in this universe.
The external form, dress, language, food habits and culture of human beings differ from one region to the other. Accordingly the external form, dress, food habits, language and culture of the Lord also differ to suit that particular region. The internal Lord and the internal essence of the same Lord is one and the same in His different human incarnations which have come in different regions or religions.

If I understand you correctly, you are saying that Jesus was just one incarnation (I assume you must believe the others to be mohammed, budda, etc.?). How could an all knowing God be part of lies and deception?March 6, 2006 at 6:58 am#11786davidParticipantd,
would you have said the same thing to the early Christians about the Jews, the scribes, and pharisees? They would not have agreed with you. There is one road, one door. Satan doesn't want us to find this door. He has created countless other doors in an attempt to hide the way to Christ.
MATTHEW 7:13-14
““Go in through the narrow gate; because broad and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are the ones going in through it; whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it.”But thankfully, everyone on earth is being given the chance to hear the good news, and to decide on which side they stand. (Mt 28:19,20; Mt 24:24)
March 6, 2006 at 3:40 pm#11788CubesParticipantThere is no need to criticize other religions. Our Lord Jesus did not appoint us to that.
He did however command us to proclaim this truth for the saving of souls of those who believe:Jhn 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Common sense says that two points which contradict each other both cannot be true.
For Instance:
The Quran says:
2. Allah, the Eternal, Absolute
3. He begetteth not, nor is begoten. The Bible says:
God gave His only begotten Son (John 3:16)I have to be critical to discern which is true and which is in error. I see nothing wrong with criticizing or being critical, as long as it is fact and not opinion. The Bible says it like this:
Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. (1 Thes. 5:21)
April 13, 2006 at 5:22 am#12691davidParticipantDid Jesus criticize other religions?
We should have a kind and loving interest in people of all religions, but when their religious beliefs and practices are false and merit God’s disapproval, it is showing love to bring this to their attention by exposing falsehood.
Jesus clearly showed up the error of the religious practices of the scribes and Pharisees of his day, saying that their religion was in vain. (Matthew 15:1-14; 23:2-32) It is God’s Word that exposes and condemns wrong religious practices carried out in his name.
We follow in Jesus’ footsteps by drawing attention to what God’s Word says, which can be to the everlasting benefit of those who will hear.david
