I presume against what IS written. The “argument from silence” works with Christians all the time doesn't it?

Hi tow,
If you are good soil the rain will benefit you.
Hebrews 6:7
For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:January 9, 2008 at 7:54 pm#77499TowshabParticipantThose poor Jews. They were such poor soil for 4000 years.

January 9, 2008 at 8:31 pm#77510NickHassanParticipantHi tow,
Jew and gentile are not now relevant in Christ.
God is making of all men one people.
Sons and daughters of God.January 9, 2008 at 8:38 pm#77512TowshabParticipantBut why was it neccessary to kill His son to bring this about? And as an extension of Jesus' death, millions of Jews followed after him in death. Does that sound like a good plan to you?
January 9, 2008 at 8:48 pm#77515NickHassanParticipantHi tow,
God did not kill His Son.
Satan and his loyal servants did.
Satan's servants still arduously oppose God.January 9, 2008 at 9:01 pm#77516TowshabParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ Jan. 09 2008,14:48) Hi tow,

Sure?Joh 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
Mat 26:39 And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.”
Your bible says it was G-d's will for Jesus to die, thus G-d is responsible according to your bible. The Jews and Romans were merely pawns in the grand scheme.
January 9, 2008 at 9:07 pm#77518NickHassanParticipantHi Tow,
God sent His Son.
He gave His Son.Satan saw an opportunity to kill the heir and as his servants had done with the prophets they did so which God allowed as he allows all evil seen on earth.
Satan failed as the lamb won the victory over sin and was raised to life which liofe he now shares with his followers to Satan's alarm and discomfort.
God sent His beloved Son who agreed to come.
Every participant in his murder will be held to account.

Including G-d?January 9, 2008 at 9:11 pm#77521NickHassanParticipantHi Tow,
If you sent your child to school and he was bullied
would you be blamed?January 9, 2008 at 9:13 pm#77522TowshabParticipantHere is another instance of a confused Jesus:
=======================================
Joh 5:31 If I alone bear witness about myself, my testimony is not deemed true.Joh 8:14 Jesus answered, “Even if I do bear witness about myself, my testimony is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going, but you do not know where I come from or where I am going.
=======================================First he says if he bears witness about himself, his testimony is not true, but later he says it is true. Which is it Jesus?
January 9, 2008 at 9:17 pm#77523TowshabParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ Jan. 09 2008,15:11) Hi Tow,

The difference is that I would not send my son to school with the intention of being bullied. Your GT says G-d sent Jesus to die.Compare apples to apples.
============================
Mat 16:21 From that time Jesus began to show his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised.
Mat 16:22 And Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him, saying, “Far be it from you, Lord! This shall never happen to you.”
Mat 16:23 But he turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a hindrance to me. For you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of man.”
==========================Right there it is admitted by Jesus that the plan was for Jesus to die. He even said who would be involved. Therefore the elders, chief priests, and cribes were merely puppets in a play put on by G-d. According to GT that is.
