David established the throne for the One who was his root and his offspring, JESUS.
David faded into history to be raised and to join in the Kingdom.
He defers to his Lord, Jesus.Hsa 3:5 Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the latter days.
