God is the God of all things. But in that era, we were apart from god, and His, Jesus, message was to Israel and to them only.
Eph.2:11-12 …11 Wherefore, remember that once you, the nations in flesh — who are termed 'Uncircumcision' by those termed 'Circumcision,' in flesh, made by hands —
12 that you were, in that era, apart from Christ, being alienated from the citizenship of Israel, and guests of the promise covenants, having no expectation, and without God in the world.
13 Yet now, in Christ Jesus, you, who once are far off, are become near by the blood of Christ.Yes, we now all are of God, but to “correctly cut the word of truth” (2Tim.2:15) we must understand what scripture is saying.
Your understanding is sadly lacking.
Blessings.

COwhen Paul was saying those thing Christ as already died for a few years and his resurection had taken place,

Mt 4:10 Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’’”
Mt 4:11 Then the devil left himThe point I was making in my reply, was that the scripture you quoted above that Jesus said, was at that time (era) His, Jesus, teachings were to Israel, and to them only.
I fully understand that now we are ALL under the “grace of God”.
I suppose you didn't understand the point being discussed.Blessings.

Many folks think that regular attendance at their church pleases God.
The same folk think they and other 'good people' go to heaven. These massive delusions control so many on earth
April 30, 2014 at 9:28 pm#380158NickHassanParticipantHi,
The only way you can please God and heaven itself is to obey the command to repent and be reborn.Luke 15:10
In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”April 30, 2014 at 9:32 pm#380159NickHassanParticipantHi,
Jesus came to save sinners
All have sinned76.Acts 5:31
Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.78.Acts 11:18
When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.80.Acts 17:30
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:82.Acts 20:21
Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. - AuthorPosts
