Hi all,
To be clear, Note:, that there is some that believe that God created the earth in either
1) 6 literal days,
2) Each day represents thousands of years,
To be clear, we are speaking of the Seventh day, so this is depending on the point of view (beliefs) of the poster,
It either responding to either the seventh literal 24 hour day that God rested
or
Either the hundred/thounsand/ year that God rested.
The Actual Question:
1)Can God rest?
Can he take a break, or take a snizzle… and
2) Why did God Rest?
3) What does it mean that God rested? what did he do to rest?
4) How did creation respond to Gods resting?
5) Is resting a limitation for God?
6) Why make that day holy?
What is holy about God resting on the seventh day,
Think about what holy means as you think about this.
Gensisi 2:
1Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
