Quote (Nick Hassan @ Dec. 19 2005,13:43) Hi kenrch,
Rom 6.3f
” Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptised into Christ Jesuus have been baptised into his death. Therefore we have been buried with him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life. For we who have been united with him in the likeness of his death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of his resurrection; knowing this, that our old body was crucified with him, in order that our body of sin be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves of sin; for he who has died is freed from sin”Repentance and baptism in water for the forgiveness of sin is an easy crucifixion. The downpayment of the Spirit in power and grace can be recieved now with the promise of joining with the assembly of firstborn from the dead.

That's all and fine, now tell me of your experance.December 18, 2005 at 8:12 pm#10937NickHassanParticipantHi kenrch,
I have shared my path many times and I will bring up some forums for you on the subject.
Briefly I was born catholic ad became aware of the work of the Spirit through the charismatic renewal of the early 80s. I gained a new respect for God and the Word and the power of the Spirit among men. I studied the bible daily directly and from the reflections and understandings of men learning gradually that the pure ore was best. I grew to realise that baptism in water was an urgent requirement too. Later I was baptised in water by a man who had just been baptised. Sadly he has since died. I have baptsied all my children in the same way and only in the past couple of years been led to invest what He has taught me in the bank of His church so that I and others may continue to learn and abide in the Word.December 18, 2005 at 8:27 pm#10938kenrchParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ Dec. 19 2005,14:12) Hi kenrch,

Why are you so angry? We all have weaknesses and faults and mine are worse than most I agree. Why try to turn things around and make them personal? What is wrong with sharing scripture? Have you nothing to share. Then you should listen to those who have perhaps?December 19, 2005 at 12:47 am#10943kenrchParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ Dec. 19 2005,17:12) Hi kenrch,

I have already spoken of my experiences in some of the forums I brought up. I will find some more. But I do not cast pearls before swine-I do not share experiences with those sitting in judgement.December 19, 2005 at 2:07 am#10954kenrchParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ Dec. 19 2005,20:02) Hi kenrch,

Nick you mean you have to go find when you wrote of your exprence. Go ahead I'll waitDecember 19, 2005 at 2:53 am#10958davidParticipantQuote OK kenrch,
If you are so sure of what God did and that He made Adam perfect then show me the scripture that says so. You will find there are none so surely you realy should not make doctrinal statements about what is not revealed.Deut 32:4:
“The Rock, perfect is his activity.” Heb., hats·Tsur´ ta·mim´ po·`oloh´; LXX, “God, true are his works”; Sy, “For without blemish (spotless) are his works”; Vg, “God’s works are perfect.”Since creating Adam is a part of his activity, and since his activity is perfect, or without blemish are his works, then Adam was created perfect.
Are there any scriptures that say God makes mistakes?
Nick, are you the judge of what is right and wrong, perfect and imperfect?
Or is God?December 19, 2005 at 2:58 am#10959davidParticipantQuote The verse I showed you is towards the end of the creation of God and that creation included the creation of man in Gen1.27 ” God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him, male and female He created them”
Then it says
” God saw all that He had made and, behold, it was very good”So God did not choose to use the word “perfect” here so why would we call Him a liar? We should either write our own bible or believe the Words of God surely rather than wandering off into inadequate derived human reasonings?
This reasoning is extremely flawed.
Jehovah is perfect, is He not? If he isn't, no one is.
“Jesus said to him: “Why do you call me good? Nobody is good, except one, God.” (Mr 10:18)
So I guess according to your reasoning, Jehovah cannot be perfect, for Jesus would certainly know whether he was and here, Jesus used the word “good.” Therefore, according to your logic, Jehovah cannot be perfect, for Jesus would surely have described him as such.
Your reasoning is false Nick.
This scripture prooves it is false.
Combine that with the fact that Jehovah's activity is obviously perfect, without flaw, spot or blemish, and that he created Adam and it is very clear that Adam, one of Jehovah's creation must be perfect. - AuthorPosts
