Enoch was the son of Jared and the father of Methuselah. Enoch lived for 365 years. Enoch walked with God and then he was no more, because God took him. (Genesis 5:22-24). In Hebrews 11:5-6, it states that “Enoch was taken so that he did not experience death.” For it was attested before he was taken away that “He had pleased God.” And without faith, it is impossible to please God, for whoever would approach Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him. In Jude, verse14, a prophecy from Enoch is recorded about the future, saying that the Lord will come with thousands of His Holy Ones, to execute judgment on all.
