    Hi BD,
God has not rejected true Israel.
Gentiles are being grafted onto this olive tree.
We are the exceptions given an opportunity to join with the chosen people.
Even the generation of the time of Jesus have the support of the prayers of Jesus for their forgiveness.

As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father's sakes.
    Romans 11:27-29

Why is it you have to dance around this fact that although they are rejecting the Gospel i.e. Jesus they are still beloved of God and will receive Grace and Mercy from God?

This being the case proves that Jesus is not the only way to the Father according to these scriptures

6Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.

    Bd,
This statement in Psalm 40 is prophetic of the new covenant age when animal sacrifices would be abolished and Christ's sacrificial blood would replace them. Compare with Hebrews 10. Oh, I forgot, you say that Hebrews has been tampered with. Well, look at it anyway that God's Spirit may open the eyes of your understanding.

    Hi BD,
God gave the Jews a covenant and He is faithful to them.
From the time of Jesus the kingdom is preached and all can enter the new covenant.

God does not contradict himself.  If you are interpreting his words in such a way that they contradict other of his words then you are misinterpreting them.  Peter tells us that some of Paul’s teachings are hard to understand and I find that to be a true statement.

    Romans 11:30-32(NIV) reads:

    Quote

Just as you who were at one time disobedient to God have now received mercy as a result of their disobedience, so they too have now become disobedient in order that they too may now receive mercy as a result of God's mercy to you. For God has bound all men over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all.

The good news of the Kingdom of God was extended to the Gentiles when the Jewish nation rejection Jesus as King.  The Jews will now look on the believing Gentiles and become jealous of their obedience to God and so seek to do the same.   The only way to do that is though obeying all the teachings of Jesus.

    Deuteronomy 32:21(NIV) reads:

    Quote

They made me jealous by what is no god
and angered me with their worthless idols.
    I will make them envious by those who are not a people;
I will make them angry by a nation that has no understanding.

Paul even makes the point the Jews will obey God with these words.

    Romans 11:26(NIV) reads:

    Quote

And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written:
       “The deliverer will come from Zion;
he will turn godlessness away from Jacob.

    Kerwin,

It is not godlessness to to be a righteous Jew, to turn people away from godlessness is for them to turn away from sin.

I didn't say there was a contradiction because the scripture is clearly saying that God will accept the God fearing Jews that have rejected Jesus as Messiah and will also accept the gentiles who were not God fearing but now although they have no understanding believe through the Gospel.

This way people like TT and WJ can be accepted by God although “They made me jealous by what is no god” and “has no understanding”

and even turning God into gods or lords even nick won't call God his only Lord but every Jew anywhere will say that there is only the “Lord” God.

Read it in context. It means that God would no more accept animal sacrifices. So Messiah offers up Himself as the once for all sacrifice in place of the animal sacrifices.

    You are incorrect

For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices:
    Jeremiah 7:21-23

God did not command it so how could it have been neccessary in the first place

    Psalm 50:11-13 (King James Version)

11I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.

12If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.

13Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?

Did God really need to eat the Body and drink the Blood of Jesus? God never needs a sacrifice to be given to him

So what would be the point of Jesus being sacrificed? But you do eat the body and drink the blood of Jesus do you know what that means?

The goal of an individual who truly seeks God is to be righteous as God is righteous.  The problem is that each of us is cut off from God by our natural desire to sin in one form or another. Jesus promised a solution to that problem by granting us the spirit of righteousness to replace our spirit of corruption.  He did this when he stated “blessed are those that hunger and thirst for righteousness for they will be filled.”  The way to claim that promise is to obey all of Jesus’ teachings.  To reject those teachings is to reject that promise.  Why would someone who really hungered and thirsted for righteousness reject the meal that would fill their cravings?

the bible clearly shows us that it was needed. why do you ignore.

1 peter 1: 18,19 – knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptable things like silver or gold from your aimles conduct received by tradition from your fathers but with the ORECIOUS BLOOD OF CHRIST, AS A LAMB WITHOUT BELMISH ANS SPOTS

ephesians 1:7 – in him we have REDEMPTION THROUGH HIS BLOOD, THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS.

1 timothy 2:5,6 – for there is one god and one mediator between god and man, jesus christ. who gave himself a ransom for all

hebrew 9:14,15 – how much more shall thr BLOOD OF CHRIST, WHO THROUGH THE ETERNAL SPIRIT OFFERED HIMSELF WITHOUT SPOT TO GOD, CLEANSE YOUR CONCIENCE FROM DEAD WORKS TO SERVE THE LIVING GOD.
FOR THIS REASON HE IS THE MEDIATOR OF THE NEW COVENANT BY MEANS OF DEATH,

hebrew 9:26,28 – he has appeared to have put sin away by the sacrifice of himself.
so christ was offered once to bear the sins of many.

i'm very sure there are more but i'm getting tired of showing the same truths.

here are scriptures that actually talk about the topic , its referenced with exact wording describing what the topic is.

if yuo can disprove it then use scriptures right now that talk about jesus and his ransom and what it means and caused to be. that is only what matters for then that wil be truth.

if you shout out scriptures that do not actually say the opposite yuo cannot use them

makes no sense as to the bible would teach two different things then.

jesus is the new law. we must follow his words inspired by gods that is true, but that has nothing t odo with what his ransom sacrifice did adn means to us. scriptures state that explicitly to the T.

    matthew 20:28
i got more, they talk about his ransom, why and what it did.

please show scriptures that deny it and go against it. again if the scriptures do not have in them , any wods or discussion of his ransom, his sacrifice meaning, the effects it had, you cannot use them

only use scriptures that pertain to topic like i did. scriptures here shown to you only talk about that!!!!

    otherwise it means nothing.

jesus is the new law. we must follow his words inspired by gods that is true, but that has nothing t odo with what his  ransom sacrifice did adn means to us. scriptures state that explicitly to the T.

    matthew 20:28
i got more, they talk about his ransom, why and what it did.

please show scriptures that deny it and go against it. again if the scriptures do not have in them , any wods or discussion of his ransom, his sacrifice meaning, the effects it had, you cannot use them

only use scriptures that pertain to topic like i did. scriptures here shown to you only talk about that!!!!

    otherwise it means nothing.

u know if these things were shown to you lets say in school and you just ignored and added questions and replys that do not show otherwise , you would be a fool for choosing to be ignorant and not pass that class.

you really do not see the error in yuor ways and thats scary.

ex: you are shown a book that tells you that john driving a car a goes through red lights when he's with his brother who asks him to do it. there are also parts in the book that says john stops at red lights.

if one said to you john goes through red lights with his brother, you would go out of your way to point out that john stops at red lights even though that wasn't the topic in question.

this is what you are doing. the bible tells you christs ransom for man and what it did. but you just talk about other teachings that were taught but not pertaining to the topic of christs ransom and what has been shown to have ment and did.

This is clearly stating they are rejecting the Gospel but are accepted anyway.

    I will make them envious by those who are not a people;
I will make them angry by a nation that has no understanding.

Paul even makes the point the Jews will obey God with these words.

    Romans 11:26(NIV) reads:

    Quote

And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written:
       “The deliverer will come from Zion;
he will turn godlessness away from Jacob.

    Awesome Answer!

    God Bless you Forever!

the bible clearly shows us that it was needed. why do you ignore.
