I would like to argue that the Pharisees in the New Testament were indeed whores, prostituting themselves to false religion and denying the truth established in the Old Testament by God's faithful prophets. Likewise, Christians who believe that the inflicting demons in the Gospels are rebel spirits to God, have as well gone a whoring, blindingly following after the deceitful traditions of men, giving head to false prophets and false doctrine!!

Mt 12:24 Now when the Pharisees heard it they said, “This fellow does not cast out demons except by Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons.”

Beelzebub was the False god of the Philistines.

What does the bible tell us about false gods and their demons/evil spirits?

De 32:17 They sacrificed to demons, not to God, To gods they did not know, To new gods, new arrivals That your fathers did not fear.

Psalms 106: 28 They yoked themselves to the Baal of Peor and ate sacrifices offered to lifeless gods; 29 they provoked the Lord to anger by their wicked deeds, and a plague broke out among them.

Isa 37:19 They have thrown their gods into the fire and destroyed them, for they were not gods but only wood and stone, fashioned by human hands.

Isa 45:20 “Gather together and come; assemble, you fugitives from the nations. Ignorant are those who carry about idols of wood, who pray to gods that cannot save.

Jer 1:16 I will pronounce my judgments on my people because of their wickedness in forsaking me, in burning incense to other gods and in worshiping what their hands have made.

Jer 16:19 O Lord, my strength and my fortress, my refuge in time of distress, to you the nations will come from the ends of the earth and say, “Our fathers possessed nothing but false gods, worthless idols that did them no good.

Jer 16:20 Do men make their own gods? Yes, but they are not gods!”

Da 5:23 Instead, you have set yourself up against the Lord of heaven. You had the goblets from his temple brought to you, and you and your nobles, your wives and your concubines drank wine from them. You praised the gods of silver and gold, of bronze, iron, wood and stone, which cannot see or hear or understand. But you did not honor the God who holds in his hand your life and all your ways.

Re 9:20 and the rest of men, who were not killed in these plagues, neither did reform from the works of their hands, that they may not bow before the demons, and idols, those of gold, and those of silver, and those of brass, and those of stone, and those of wood, that are neither able to see, nor to hear, nor to walk,

Demons cannot walk, they cannot talk, their powers are FAKE, but yet their deception by false prophets are REAL.

If these demons have NO power, then how on earth could they be fallen angels or some other sort of rebellious spirit?

There is NO evidence in the bible to suggest that the demons of False religions are fallen angels in disguise. On the contrary scripture directly tells us that the demons or evil spirits of false religions have NO power, YHWH alone brings blessing and Cursing. He sends forth angels who are His Faithful servants to infect people with evil spirits such as madness, blindness and deafness.

Exodus 4:11 “So the Lord said to him,” Who has made man's mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I the Lord?”

Deut 30: 19,” ….I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing;”

I Samuel 2:6 “The Lord kills and makes alive; He brings down to the grave and brings up. The Lord makes the poor and the rich;”

Isaiah 45:6-7 “That they may know from the rising of the sun to its setting that there is none besides Me. I am the Lord, and there is no other; I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create calamity; I the Lord do all these things.”

Deuteronomy 28 is such a telling chapter in the bible, it is just so unfortunate to see most Christians preferring to either dismiss it or rather flat out ignore it all together.

20 “The Lord will send on you cursing, confusion, and rebuke in all that you set your hand to do, until you are destroyed and until you perish quickly, because of the wickedness of your doings in which you have forsaken Me

28 The Lord will strike you with madness and blindness and confusion of heart. 29 And you shall grope at noonday, as a blind man gropes in darkness; you shall not prosper in your ways; you shall be only oppressed and plundered continually, and no one shall save you.

34 So you shall be driven mad because of the sight which your eyes see. 35 The Lord will strike you in the knees and on the legs with severe boils which cannot be healed, and from the sole of your foot to the top of your head. 36 The Lord will bring you and the king whom you set over you to a nation which neither you nor your fathers have known, and there you shall serve other gods–wood and stone.

Professing to be wise it seems most Christians are whores, following after the traditions of men. Paul gives warning-

1Co 10:19 What am I saying then? That an idol is anything, or what is offered to idols is anything? 20 Rather, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice they sacrifice to demons and not to God, and I do not want you to have fellowship with demons. 21 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord's table and of the table of demons.

Not only do we see in the Old Testament false prophets teaching of false powers of gods and demons, we see this as well in the New Testament.

I Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, 3 forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.

Those deceiving spirits, the false prophets, were liars. They were whores just like the Pharisees believing in traditions of men and were as well creating new deceptions, which happen to be found today in Christian beliefs.

The Old Testament tells us that God sends evil unto people cursing them with madness and such things as blindness. So it would then seem clear that the evil spirits referred to as demons in the New Testament that are inflicting people with madness and such things as blindness, muteness, deafness,  should be understood as God’s evil spirits. If evil spirits and unclean spirits are interchangeable with the word demon then we could refer to God’s spirits then as demons. God’s demons, or evil spirits are the only spirits with the power to bring on cursing and infliction.

    Hi Jodi,
It has always been your thought that scripture must be cleansed of spiritual entities.

Leave it alone as it is more inspired than you are.

God's angels walk to and fro on the earth, ready to punish and curse mankind.

2Ch 16:9 For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars.”

Job 1:7 And the Lord said to Satan, “From where do you come?” So Satan answered the Lord and said, “From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.”

Zechariah 1:7-7 On the twenty-fourth day of the eleventh month, which is the month Shebat, in the second year of Darius, the word of the Lord came to Zechariah the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet: 8 I saw by night, and behold, a man riding on a red horse, and it stood among the myrtle trees in the hollow; and behind him were horses: red, sorrel, and white. 9 Then I said, “My lord, what are these?” So the angel who talked with me said to me, “I will show you what they are.” 10 And the man who stood among the myrtle trees answered and said, “These are the ones whom the Lord has sent to walk to and fro throughout the earth.

Zech 4:10 For who has despised the day of small things? For these seven rejoice to see The plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. They are the eyes of the Lord, Which scan to and fro throughout the whole earth.

Zech 6:2 With the first chariot were red horses, with the second chariot black horses, 3 with the third chariot white horses, and with the fourth chariot dappled horses–strong steeds. 4 Then I answered and said to the angel who talked with me, “What are these, my lord?” 5 And the angel answered and said to me, “These are four spirits of heaven, who go out from their station before the Lord of all the earth. 6 The one with the black horses is going to the north country, the white are going after them, and the dappled are going toward the south country.” 7 Then the strong steeds went out, eager to go, that they might walk to and fro throughout the earth. And He said, “Go, walk to and fro throughout the earth.” So they walked to and fro throughout the earth. 8 And He called to me, and spoke to me, saying, “See, those who go toward the north country have given rest to My Spirit in the north country.”

Are not the angels of the Lord shown in the OT to be spirits that were feared by men??

1Ch 21:7 This command was also evil in the sight of God; so he punished Israel. 8 Then David said to God, “I have sinned greatly by doing this. Now, I beg you, take away the guilt of your servant. I have done a very foolish thing.” 9 The Lord said to Gad, David's seer, 10 “Go and tell David, 'This is what the Lord says: I am giving you three options. Choose one of them for me to carry out against you.'” 11 So Gad went to David and said to him, “This is what the Lord says: 'Take your choice:12 three years of famine, three months of being swept away before your enemies, with their swords overtaking you, or three days of the sword of the Lord–days of plague in the land, with the angel of the Lord ravaging every part of Israel.' Now then, decide how I should answer the one who sent me.”

1 Ch 21:14 So the Lord sent a plague on Israel, and seventy thousand men of Israel fell dead. 15 And God sent an angel to destroy Jerusalem. But as the angel was doing so, the Lord saw it and was grieved because of the calamity and said to the angel who was destroying the people, “Enough! Withdraw your hand.” The angel of the Lord was then standing at the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite. 16 David looked up and saw the angel of the Lord standing between heaven and earth, with a drawn sword in his hand extended over Jerusalem. Then David and the elders, clothed in sackcloth, fell facedown. 17 David said to God, “Was it not I who ordered the fighting men to be counted? I am the one who has sinned and done wrong. These are but sheep. What have they done? O Lord my God, let your hand fall upon me and my family, but do not let this plague remain on your people.”

21:26 David built an altar to the Lord there and sacrificed burnt offerings and fellowship offerings. He called on the Lord, and the Lord answered him with fire from heaven on the altar of burnt offering. 27 Then the Lord spoke to the angel, and he put his sword back into its sheath.

1Ch 21:30 But David could not go before it to inquire of God, because he was afraid of the sword of the angel of the Lord.[/b]

2Ch 32:21 And the Lord sent an angel, who annihilated all the fighting men and the leaders and officers in the camp of the Assyrian king.

Job 33:23 “Yet if there is an angel on his side as a mediator, one out of a thousand, to tell a man what is right for him, 24 to be gracious to him and say, 'Spare him from going down to the pit; I have found a ransom for him'– 25 then his flesh is renewed like a child's; it is restored as in the days of his youth. 26 He prays to God and finds favor with him, he sees God's face and shouts for joy; he is restored by God to his righteous state. 27 Then he comes to men and says, 'I sinned, and perverted what was right, but I did not get what I deserved. 28 He redeemed my soul from going down to the pit, and I will live to enjoy the light.'

Angels of the LORD were SATANS/Adversaries to men and were  certainly feared by David and Job. They were feared by all of Israel and when Israel went whoring after other gods these angels were seen as the demons of false religions!!

Prime example is when the Pharisees referred to the false god Beelzebub, as if he truly existed.

It is God's angels and God's angels alone that inflicts man. These punishments we are told were to affect future generations. Jesus healed those who inherited their forefathers punishments.

There is NO evidence in the bible that suggests that demons of false religions are fallen angels in disguise. Matter of fact their is no evidence AT ALL IMO that fallen angels even exist.

    Hi Jodi,
So the seven angelic spirits seen in front of the throne in Revelation are the eyes of God.
But are they the ones who punish or just WATCH?[Dan]

    Hi Jodi,
SIN WITHIN that manifests in men as attitudes and behaviours and can lead to death are not angels.
They knew their time was limited when in their human vessels they met Jesus

From one false doctrine to another they all tie together so I will include this bit,

There is absolutely NO evidence that the serpent in Genesis and Revelation is just a vessel who’s been manipulated. The serpent ITSELF is the deceiver, that is why the SERPENT is punished.

Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made.

The SERPENT was crafty according to scripture, NOT the ‘being’ that possessed or manipulated the serpent was crafty.

Genesis 3:13 And the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.” So the Lord God said to the serpent: “Because you have done this, You are cursed more than all cattle, And more than every beast of the field; On your belly you shall go, And you shall eat dust All the days of your life. 15 And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel.”

Re 12:3 And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads.

Revelation 12:9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his messengers were cast out with him.

The serpent was the deceiver, the adversary the slanderer.

We are told that the great dragon the old serpent represents…..

Revelation 17:9 Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits. 10 There are also seven KINGS. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come. And when he comes, he must continue a short time. 11 And the beast that was, and is not, is himself also the eighth, and is of the seven, and is going to perdition. 12 The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. 13 These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast.

The great dragon represents men, just like the old serpent represented a man as well. The man who serves his own flesh and not the ways of God is a serpent, an adversary a liar. Through one man sin did enter the world, and to be Satan is to have in mind the things of men.

The devil or adversary is to be of the mind of man, full of ignorance and vanity, and thus creating superstitions rot with deceptions, and willing to even kill for personal gain. The Old Testament is clear that man has problems when he FOLLOWS after his OWN delusions, and we are also told clearly in the bible that sin comes when man follows the lust of the flesh.

Revelation 12 does not contain a story of fallen angels who manipulate or influence kings. All throughout the Old Testament we are told of Kings who become vein and FALL from their high position, from their heavenly dwelling. The dragon represents MEN, not men manipulated by invisible rebel spirits, but men who sin because they follow their own flesh, they are represented as a dragon a brute beast that follows instinct instead of the wisdom attainable through God. They are kings therefore they hold a HIGH position, however God casts them down from their position, and as any stubborn evil army brought down knowing they have little time, they are fully willing to wreak as much havoc as possible until their bitter end.

Revelation is a book full of SYMBOLS, those symbols should not be left to be defined by man’s imagination, but rather should be defined according to the actual definitions given to us by the bible. The dragon is NOT identified as rebel angels, but is specifically said to represent Kings. To add and say that the dragon represents kings who are manipulated or influenced by fallen angels is to be a liar.

Nick, the bible shows that the ONLY supernatural beings who exist in the time of human beings are God's servants.

God makes this distinctively clear when He says that He ALONE brings lightness and darkness that He alone creates peace and CALAMITY!!

The ONLY REAL demons or evil spirits that exist then obviously come from God.

I must add that you have to look at the word evil of which the Old Testament referred to God differently from that of man's evil.  The evil of God's infliction is necessary for instruction and refinement, it is different entirely from the definition of the evil in man.

    Hi Jodi,
Because demons can be driven from their vessels by God's work or at the death of men and they are of intelligence they can deceive men when they express their experiences and memories while in human or other vessels and this work is the source of amusement and finance to those who dabble in the dark arts

    Nick you don't get it!!

There are REAL demons and there are FALSE demons.

God brings upon man curses and calamity, His angels bring forth plagues, diseases of the MIND and body. The demons of which are inflicting man in the Gospels of whom Jesus heals are demons that God cast upon the people as punishments and that would be handed down in generations.

We also have the demons of which Christians go whoring after, these are products of false prophets, these demons are NOT REAL, but their DECEPTIONS are. So when it says you cannot fellowship with demons and God, people aren't really fellowshipping with demons they are fellowshipping with the deceit created behind them. There fellowship is one sided and provoked through delusions of their OWN mind.

Nick, the warning is against false prophets and their false demons. Those demons, according to the bible, CANNOT WALK, CANNOT TALK, CANNOT SAVE, because the have NO life in them and NO POWER!!

WHY do you and so many others deny this biblical truth, whether you believe they are fallen angels or not makes no difference. The difference is that you believe that something is real that is not, you attest God's powers to another creature, and thus that makes you a whore!! Remember Nick, ONLY God brings forth calamity.

Nick the serpent was NOT a VESSEL, the serpent was punished. The serpent IMO was not a serpent at all, how could it be according to its punishment. The dragon was not a vessel either. The old serpent, adversary, slanderer, dragon all represent the mind of man following after its flesh. The mind of man was punished to lick the dust of the earth, it was meant to crawl on it's belly, live in fear and survival. God created the enmity between the serpent seed and the woman's seed. The mind of man was subjected to weak flesh, making a corruptible body to have power over the mind. Jesus destroyed the enmity because he was able through God's Spirit to have control over his corruptible body and not serve it, instead he served God and remained without sin. To sin is to follow in the desires of the flesh, it is not to be influenced by a rebel supernatural spirit.

Micah 7:17 They lick dust as a serpent, as fearful things of earth, They tremble from their enclosures, Of Jehovah our God they are afraid, Yea, they are afraid of Thee.

Psalms 44:25 For bowed to the dust hath our soul, Cleaved to the earth hath our belly.

The BELLY in man is representative of the seat of EMOTION

Romans 16:18 For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple.

sounds like a forked tongue to me…

Philippians 3:18 For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: 19 whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly things.

I am sick of people adding to scripture, lying about scripture. Man sins according to his flesh, not according to rebel spirits drawing him to serve his flesh, we are drawn to serve our flesh because God gave us a corruptible body, as a test in order to refine us and teach us that we NEED God. The dragon is said to be kings, it is not said to be kings under the influence of rebel supernatural spirits.
