Uh oh!I am sure Mandy was not looking for support from a man to says that Paul was a deceiver, that Jesus was presumptuous, that the Scriptures were tampered with, and that Christ was not crucified.

He purchased the flock for Himself. The angel said,Quote You shall call His name Jesus for He shall save His people from their sins The angel said that we are Christ's people. Are we Christ's people or God's people Nick? I guess the angel was an idolater.

ParticipantHi TT,
Jesus is the good shepherd.You are right in that you should not have two gods.
Jesus is not our God but our Lord, the Christ and Son OF God.
Do you agree with Peter or is his view unacceptable?

If Christ is our Lord then God is not. If Christ is our shepherd then God is not. Unless God and Christ are one.thinker

Read what I said again Nick. My point is that the Father and the Son are one Lord and one shepherd. I was clear.thinker

ParticipantHi TT,
Yes you spiced up scripture with a few ideas of your own.
But you need to learn the order of things.God is the head of Christ who is the head of man…

ParticipantHi TT
I have noticed your opponent has a rather secular view. Maybe this will help some.
Col 2:1 For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh;
Col 2:2 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;
Col 2:3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
Col 2:4 And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words.
Col 2:5 For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ.
Col 2:6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:
Col 2:7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
Col 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
Col 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.Col 2:10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
The “all” in verse 10 is applied to power also!
Ye are complete in who? Jesus Christ
And Jesus Christ is the head of all principality and “all” power.
All power is all power, it’s not some power, or most power, it’s ALL power. - AuthorPosts
