Although I don't think your god is very interested in human suffering. It just seems to be interested in arbitrary killing and punishment. Don't forget that burning in sulfur only arrived with Jesus.

Sad, you say. No, not really. How many books have been written on the subject of Evolution? Or how many different religions are there in the world that claim to have the truth. It is human wisdom based on human reasoning, trying to understand the truth, but this wisdom will be destroyed or come naught through the wisdom of God which is the truth.

Jesus is not dead. Yes, they did kill his body, but he is very much alive at the right hand of God our Father as head of His church, and he is lives in the earth by his spirit, the Word of God that he obeyed without sin unto death on the cross, as those who have confessed him as Lord learn to apply His Word in their daily lives.

And only those who are a part of His kingdom will live on forever. Every thing else will be destroyed.

And no one has to be punished or destroyed unless that is what they choose.
