The earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the earth. That was in the beginning.
There is still darkness upon the earth now, and has been for two thousand years. Except for the few chosen.
However; it is spiritual darkness. They love to keep on groping in the dark, for no one can see.
John 1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

If one has been in darkness for too long; he has to cover himself from that light.
He will hide himself from that light, because he is naked. He rebuke that light, because it is showing all their wrong works.
That light showed all the wrong doctrines preached which he will not anyone to see, and loves to keep,
no matter what scripture are shown to him, he will not budge, because his nakedness he will not show to others.
He prefers to stay in darkness,so no one can see his wrong works, and nakedness, his scars.
So he can continue doing his works to his own satisfaction.

Anyone coming with light he will send away and stone him.
That light he can not stand, he hates that light; he covers himself from that light.
Darkness is his domain, light is not the place he wants to be in.
Light show’s his true dwelling place. In Babylon there is spiritual darkness, and he is a citizen there of.
He will not see that Babylon will be destroyed by light from heaven, because he loves Babylon so much with all the
pleasures and good living. He truly believes that he can hide in the holes of the rocks, when the true light comes.

The wine served by her is satisfying to his spirit and soul.
It feels good to be in a drunken state at all times.
He does not care about inheritance in heaven; he wants a good life now, eat the bowl of pottage now,
because he is hungry and must satisfy his belly, and the spirit of his flesh.

I say; the truth will always be rejected in the land, that has no rain,and is desolate.
The Holy Spirit has not been given, because of the desolation.

Revelation 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
