Hi,
I've come across the Alenu prayer of Israel during the second temple period. Tell me if you can spot any titles of YHWH here that are given to Jesus.
“It is meet that we should praise the Lord of all; that we should ascribe greatness to Him who formed from the beginning. … We worship before the King of the Kings of Kings. … That to Thee every knee must bow, every tongue swear. Before Thee, O Lord our God, let them bow and fall down; and to the glory of thy great Name let them give honour. And let them take upon themselves the yoke of Thy kingdom, and do Thou reign over them for ever and ever. For the kingdom is Thine, and for ever shalt though reign in glory.”
This is from Wainwright's “Trinity in hte New Testament,” 95-96.
