Hi, (Looking at the Exegetical meanings of Scripture)

In this thread we will explore what Acts 2:36 means:
“Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly,
that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye
have crucified, both Lord and Christ.” (Acts 2:36)

I want to focus on what YHVH making Jesus “Lord” means;
though YHVH making Jesus “The Christ” is still on topic here.

Hi Everyone, please feel free to comment, but here's what I believe:

1) YHVH making Jesus “Lord” does NOT mean making Jesus “GOD”. (Deuteronomy 6:4)
2) YHVH making Jesus “Lord” does NOT mean making Jesus “King”. (Ps.29:10, Ps.10:16)
3) YHVH making Jesus “Lord” does mean making Jesus “OWNER”. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

(Rev 4:8) “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.”

Here's what I believe this verse is saying:
Holy, Lord(Owner), represents JESUS: which was.
Holy, GOD(Creator), represents GOD THE FATHER: which is.
Holy, Almighty(Controller), represents HOLYSPIRIT: and is to come.

JESUS was MADE both Lord and Christ.

It was being pointed out to those who had murdered a man they thought was a blasphemer[ because of THEIR carnal view] that he was in GOD's eyes the MOST IMPORTANT MAN ever created.

No wonder they crumbled and sought salvation.

The words are not interchangeable it seems
