Hi Ed,He already makes a mistake right at the beginning.
When will these preachers wake up?
Ezekiel is the ONLY year for day prophecy for a very obvious reason…
And that is that Ezekiel could not lie on his side for x amount of years, then on his other side for x amount of years!!
Use logic on this Ed, can you lay on one side for say 40 years???
There you go!!Also, God clearly states the year for a day method.
He makes sure this is CLEAR because it is NOT a method He uses except for this special occasion.
IF He did use this method again, there would need be a special reason like Ezekiel had, and also, He would have TOLD US like He did in this rare case.No need to watch further.
When building a wall, if the measurements are wrong at the start…how much more so by the end!!God bless.

Hi Georgie, (please do look up the reference verses)The time was fulfilled at Jesus' baptism (26AD), making Jesus “The Christ,” fulfilling John 1:14.
See Acts 10:38, John 1:14 (The Word(God) was made flesh), 1Tm.3:16, and 2Cor.5:19.490 – 483 = 7 seven years or one prophetic week left.
The final prophetic week is fulfilled by Jesus and his ApostlesJesus preached 3½ years and then was crucified,
after his resurrection, Jesus' Apostles finish the week-
(3½ years) completing the 490 year seven week prophecy.God gives us a sure word of prophecy, proving we can count on him.

Israel is given in TOTAL 70 weeks to straighten up.
this is from the DAY that the angel spoke to Daniel.

Inside this total 70 weeks, is to anoint Jesus and to seal up this vision.Jesus will built the street again and the wall.(spiritual street and wall).not physical.
The preaching opens the way,and the wall (truth).This wall is built with tempered mortar.Not built on lies.From the commandment to rebuild the temple to the messiah
is 7 weeks and 62 weeks.(69).But the mesiah was cut off(crucified) after only 62 weeks,from the commandment. (69-62=7).left over.
We know what year the crucifixion is;the 62nd week. So there is still 7weeks left.
And 7 weeks after the crucifix,was the temple destroyed.
This is the end of the 70 weeks. This is the time of determination.This is the time given to israel to straighten up.Time up.for israel.Where is the one week missing?
That is the week that Daniel has to wait for the commandment to come in,to built the temple.The commandment DID NOT come on the day the angel spoke to Daniel; he had to wait for one week FOR THE COMMANDMENT TO COME.
NOW FROM THE TIME OF THE DESTRUCTION OF THE TEMPLE ONWARDS THERE IS DESOLATION EVEN TO THE CONSUMATION. and judgement poured upon the desolate.

69 LITERAL WEEKS for “The Messiah” puts the date at 455BC; so literal weeks DO NOT work.
The “ONLY” formula that does work is “a day for a year” and can be found in Ezekiel 4:6.in another thread YOU said '7wks,=70ad' so explain fro us:
