” 9For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died. “
So according to Paul death did not come until the Law came.
Before that he was alive.
The Law came with Moses.
So it is not true to say Adam was dead or any were dead in the way you say till the Law was given.When did Adam know he sinned? When he disobeyed the commandment of God.
Is a child, who is ignorant of the law going to go to hell if he dies without being born again or is that child innocent in the eyes of the Lord because he is not yet convicted under the law?

Adam was given one commandment.He disobeyed it.
That was not the giving of the Whole Law.
Scripture says where there is no law sin is not imputed.Rom 4
” 15Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.”
and
Rom 3
” 19Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. “Nick, disobedience period is sin. Do you think that Adam's disobedience was less then that which we face or more grave. Adam's disobedience brought death to all mankind.
Are you referring to the first seven commandments known Noah Laws? This in itself would be getting well off the subject of this thread.

You say men died yet death comes through the Law according to Paul in Romans 7 so it does relate to this thread anyway.Nick, this is a thread that deals with the soul. You want to discuss the law. They are not the same.
A man must be born again. He must be reborn in the spirit. He must be quickened in the spirit. If he is not, he will never see eternal life. For if the spirit is not quickened, how can the flesh ever be resurrected? For once a man is dead, his soul will either go to hell, eternal death, or to Christ, eternal life.
For this to happen, the man must be born again in the spirit before the soul leaves the flesh. If it does not, he will never taste eternal life. Blessed is he who partakes in the first resurrection.
Rev. 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
Adam was a living soul. On the day that he sinned, he became spiritually dead, became spiritually seperated from God because of sin, his soul was sold unto sin.
