    Hi Wakeup,  (please, no speeches)

    1) Are you suggesting that the people of Israel are going
    to build a third temple on the temple mount, according
    to the measurements in the book of Ezekiel?

    2) And then it will be destroyed shortly afterwards?

    Love in Christ,
    Marty

    Hi Marty,

    Peter wrote those words before 70AD. So yes, Satan was, then, walking around as a lion, seeking whom he could devour.

    But,
    Jesus said:
    “How can someone enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? Then indeed he may plunder his house.”

    This happened in 70Ad, after Peter wrote those words.

    Jesus said:
    (Matt 24:2) “You see all these, do you not? Truly, I say to you, there will not be left here one stone upon another, that will not be thrown down.”

    (70AD)

    Revelations 20:2-3:
    “And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, that he should deceive the nations no more, (till the thousand years were ended. After that he must be loosed for a little while).”
    “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, as a testimony to all nations; and then the end will come.”

    The gospel of the kingdom has been preached throughout the world as a testimony to all of the nations, and soon (or more likely, now) Satan has been let lose to deceive the nations once more, and then the end will come.

    Can you not see that?

    No, I don't see that at all. Satan has not been bound, but is still very active deceiving whomsover will fall to his prey.

    Yes, the Apostle Peter wrote the scriptures prior to 70AD, but the scriptures are written to the church.

    Were events like the Crusades, the inquisition, the Holocaust for example, not from the temptions of the devil?

    Prior to Jesus giving his life and being resurrected, the devil had the power of death, because all men have sinned, and were dead in their trespasses, but Jesus not has the keys of life and death, and through him all who make Jesus their Lord have the power over death and the grave.

    This is what the scriptures that you quote relative to Jesus binding the strong man refer.

    Quote
    1Cr 15:55 O death, where [is] thy sting? O grave, where [is] thy victory?

    1Cr 15:56 The sting of death [is] sin; and the strength of sin [is] the law.

    1Cr 15:57 But thanks [be] to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

    Quote
    Rev 1:13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks [one] like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.

    Rev 1:14 His head and [his] hairs [were] white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes [were] as a flame of fire;

    Rev 1:15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

    Rev 1:16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance [was] as the sun shineth in his strength.

    Rev 1:17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

    Rev 1:18 I [am] he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

    Love in Christ,

    Marty I am completely against this temporary one thousand year millennium kingdom soon to come but I am looking forward to the eternal kingdom which Jesus and the Disciples spoke about.

    Debating this issue here to me is fruitless because nobody will change their view and so be it.

    If there does come to be a false return of Jesus and you all go looking to this man as if it truly was Jesus then you cannot say that Jesus did not tell you before hand because He did.

    I will post some verses soon but then that is all that i have to say in this issue.
    God bless.

    Marty, is right ,Satan as not been bound yet ,

    and the scriptures that you quoting are in reflection of the fore cast of the apostasy for told by Christ ,that would take place after the dead of the apostles ,

    T, we'll soon see the difference in Satan being bound and Satan being lose. But only those who are not deceived will see it and know what is happening.

    that is what everyone says to the other :D

    Marty, why I said what I did is because I have been discussing this topic in other threads, not just this one.

    Anyway, here is something that i found.

    Can be read here:

    Amillennialism in Three Verses

    Can amillenialism be proven with a mere 3 verses from Scripture? I believe it can, assuming that we agree that 1 Corinthians 15:54 is speaking of the time of the second coming of Christ and that Revelation 21:4 is speaking of the time of the ushering in of the new heavens and new earth.

    Hi:

    I am not sure that the 1000 year reign will be on earth, it may be in heaven, but it will be during this time that the saints with Christ will judge those who have died in thier sins who will be resurrected after this 1000 year period to receive the sentence that was determined by this judgment.

    I am looking for Jesus to come from above when he comes for the church. He is at the right hand of the Father, is he not?

    Hi Marty,
    Yes, Jesus is at the right hand of the father right now whilst waiting for the harvest. At the harvest, the wheat (also described in another parable as the sheep) will go to the eternal kingdom prepared from the foundation of the world whilst the chaff (or the goats) will go away into eternal punishment (eternal death).

    Matthew 13:

    [24] “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field;
    [25] but while men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away.
    [26] So when the plants came up and bore grain, then the weeds appeared also.
    [27] And the servants of the householder came and said to him, `Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then has it weeds?'
    [28] He said to them, `An enemy has done this.' The servants said to him, `Then do you want us to go and gather them?'
    [29] But he said, `No; lest in gathering the weeds you root up the wheat along with them.
    [30] Let both grow together until the harvest; and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, Gather the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn.'”
    [31]

    Another parable he put before them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed which a man took and sowed in his field;
    [32] it is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown it is the greatest of shrubs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches.”
    [33]

    He told them another parable. “The kingdom of heaven is like leaven which a woman took and hid in three measures of flour, till it was all leavened.”
    [34]

    All this Jesus said to the crowds in parables; indeed he said nothing to them without a parable.
    [35] This was to fulfil what was spoken by the prophet: “I will open my mouth in parables,
    I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the
    world.”
    [36]

    Then he left the crowds and went into the house. And his disciples came to him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds of the field.”

    [37] He answered, “He who sows the good seed is the Son of man;
    [38] the field is the world, and the good seed means the sons of the kingdom; the weeds are the sons of the evil one,
    [39] and the enemy who sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the close of the age, and the reapers are angels.
    [40] Just as the weeds are gathered and burned with fire, so will it be at the close of the age.
    [41] The Son of man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all evildoers,
    [42] and throw them into the furnace of fire; there men will weep and gnash their teeth.
    [43] Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.
    [44]

    “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up; then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.
    [45]
    “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls,
    [46] who, on finding one pearl of great value, went and sold all that he had and bought it.
    [47]

    “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net which was thrown into the sea and gathered fish of every kind;
    [48] when it was full, men drew it ashore and sat down and sorted the good into vessels but threw away the bad.
    [49]

    So it will be at the close of the age. The angels will come out and separate the evil from the righteous,
    [50] and throw them into the furnace of fire; there men will weep and gnash their teeth.
    [51]

    “Have you understood all this?” They said to him, “Yes.”

    They understood.

    This is from the parable that you posted from Matthew 13:

    Quote
    to him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds of the field.”

    [37] He answered, “He who sows the good seed is the Son of man;

    [39] and the enemy who sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the close of the age, and the reapers are angels.

    Does not appear to you that the devil is already bound by virtue of these scripture?

    The enemy who SOWED them.
    It doesn't prove to me that that enemy who SOWED them was not afterward 'bound'.

    2Besee.

    Thats a cop out answer.
    You did not answered marty's question.
    If satan can sow the weed amongst the corn;
    He can not be bound in prison.

    For the weed is still sown today and even more weed are sown amongst the churches.Dont be satisfied with
    a faulty doctrine.

    wakeup.
