Quote (before Time @ Mar. 11 2009,05:09) Greetings Thinker On his own free will Christ took on himself on the cross all the sins of humankind to redeem us from the curse of the law. “Jesus was NOT sinful, or a sinner, in any sense.” Deut. 21:23 Isa. 53:5 2 Cor. 5:21
Gal 3:13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.”
You said. “The resurrection of the dead was about the putting on of immortality. This was fulfilled in AD70.”
I’m inclined to have the same opinion with you on the 70 AD resurrection. It’s a transferring from our earthly realm to the heavenly.
BT,
It appears that we are in agreement. But I am still perplexed by your assertionQuote Christ was the first resurrection, the firstfruit of those who were dead in their sins while still living their physical life. I still need for you to clear this up.
thanks,

A spiritual resurrection as I see it is a coming to life in God’s eyes while still in a physical body, taking place when one is a born-again child of God. Even if this person dies the inner self-lives on.
“Basically what Christ is saying is that there is one resurrection. It is Him.” This is applied to all those who have faith in this. In Him there is life! “Death is swallowed up in victory”
Christ like a sponge took on himself all the sins of the world on the cross.
I’m not certain thinker if I’m getting to the crust of your question.
