    Hi CON,
Does it seem right to impose OT law on those led by the Spirit?

    It is not an imposition.

Only you make it out as one.

kerwin and Const.Read Exodus 31:16-17  The Sabbath was a sign between God and the Children of Israel.  We as Gentiles were never under that Law….Paul tells us that some will keep one day to the LORD and another keeps another Day to the LORD, and some keep every day alike. Romans 14:5 Even Paul said that, He was send to the Gentles to teach the truth and the good News of the Kingdom of God….If you want to keep the Old Covenant Law you have to keep all of it.   Not just the 10 Commandments….Just like the Jewish People are doing today….Paul called them foolish Galatians because they also wanted to go back.  We are under the New Covenant in Luke 22:20 and the great Commandment in Math, 22:37-40.
Jesus on the Sermon on the Mount also magnified the Law and made it Spiritual…Read all……

it is impossible to the Jews to go back and worship God ,because there is no more temple, all what as to do with the true Mosses law and the ceremony is gone for ever in 70 AD

the only way worship is now accepted is trough Jesus Christ in spirit and truth.

The 613 commandments are contained within the 10 commandments and the 10 commandments are contained within The two great commandments (Love HaShem and neighbor as self).

This is why Yeshua said that all of the Torah hangs upon those two commandments.

    Hi Hasher…

    Well said.

    Gal 3:19 said the law was ordained by Angels…..written thru a mediator… (God's finger)lol

    God's 5 commandments are given in Genesis 1:26 & 28
    1-Be fruitful
    2-Multiply (IMO no abortions)
    3-Fill the earth
    4-Cultivate the earth
5- Have dominion over: (IMO lost to Satan in the fall)

    Birds/Air Fish/Sea Animals/Earth

the new law is written upon our hearts and minds and is a spiritual law. ( for the sin is now forgiveable)

the new law is through jesus. our covenant is a new one through jesus.

The “new law” is quoted in the Old Testament, it is not new for it is written, but it is new for those who finally understand it.

“( for the sin is now forgiveable)” = “( for the sin [transgression of the law] is now forgiveable)”

they were his people till there continually spit on him with detestable things and removed god from their hearts by ignoring his commands.

the bible says what is says. i show scriptures to back i,t is all.

its up to you to accept it.

bible says we are under jesus now not the the law of old. jesus on to now is a new law.

you can remain in the old i use jesus's law tht was brought forth

Jesus' Law is no different than the old testament laws.

They are one in the same.

So for you to make that statement, is kind of rediculous.

    ——

Old Law: Thou shall not murder
New Law: Love your neighbor as yourself?

Do you see they are one in the same.

To love your neighbor would mean not to murder him lol.

    ——

Jesus didn't come to abolish the law, but to fufill it.

So the OT law is still very valid.

    ——

So how did he fufill it?

Well, if you disrespect your parents, the law says…the child must be stoned to death for his sin.

Jesus Christ Already died for that sin and was condemned.

Since Jesus already served the child's sentence, we no longer would stone the child for sinning…all he has to do now, is repent.

This is how Jesus fufilled the law without abolishing it.
