There were major signs in the heavens when Jesus was conceived, born, and died according to scripture and astronomical data.

Can the stars tell us of things to come? Do they testify to history? If so, then today we have astronomical software that accurately predicts the night sky each day in history and the future. But is this just Astrology? No it is not. We are taught clearly in scripture that the stars are there as signs for us.

Genesis 1:14-15
Then God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and years; and let them be for lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth”; and it was so.…

    The speaker does come across to me as trying to claim that he came up with this stuff, or at least the first to post it to Youtube. I can’t help but think that is pride though. Nevertheless, he makes a good argument and has done a lot of research.

    Anyway,  just wondering what your thoughts are September 23, 2017 sign.  Many thought it would be the day of the rapture.  Obviously not the case… but it still happened nonetheless.  What do you think?

    Hi Nick,

    yes, that’s what I figure as well.  I have had teaching that the manchild is referring to the last day ministry and bride of Christ, that the woman represents the church, which bears the bride(man child ministery/ latter rain movement).  I have been taught that this ministry lasts 3 1/2 years, completing a 7 year ministery started by Jesus…at completion, the bride is “harpazo-ed”

    I would love to know your thoughts on this, I’m not sure it’s true, but I also don’t see a reason why it wouldn’t be. It could just be a sign that it’s coming sometime soon in general-after all, we don’t know the day or hour.

    Personally, I think these are signs. But attaching it to the rapture was always a personal opinion that wasn’t connected in scripture and obviously didn’t work out for those who taught this.

    Since the Blood Moons and other signs, there have been huge developments in the world.

    The Blood Moons happened at the same time as the Islamic invasion of Europe. I believe that Islam plays a huge part in the time of the end. You might be interested in this:

    Further, it seems obvious that Europe, America, Russia, and the Middle East are going through huge changes. Things are falling into place.

    I always thought it was common for believers to think that the contention between Christianity and Islam would be the main focus of end times…. but when I read the first few sentences of your article on the other theories, I remember them from Christian school.

    Anyway, as you have stated, these things are signs.  I have never been one to try to nail down end time theory, and I didn’t know about that particular sign in the heavens until it was over…but it got my attention for sure.

    I remember these other theories too, but Islam was not really spoken of from what I can remember at least.

    While it is a significant religion and many today think it will play a definite role in the end times, I think it is fair to say that most do not know where to place it. Of course, what I wrote is only a theory.
