Proclaimer……Jesus Christ did not preexist, his birth on this earth. He was prophesied to come into his existence before his actual birth, but he didn’t exist , till the prophesy happened, when he came into his “ONLY” existence he ever had.
You tell us Jesus preexisted, but as what, you don’t know, nor does your fellow teachers the Trinitarians…[Read more]

Adam……Let’s not forget in the book of Acts, Peter also said that they (the Jews ) were responsible for the the death of Jesus.
Acts 2:22-23……You men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which “GOD” by him in the Midwest of you, as you yourselves, Also know. Adam……….I also believe that Isaiah 53, was referring to the nation of Israel as the suffering servant of God. But we can’t rule out that God placed the sin of the world on the head of Jesus, as his sacrificial lamb, either.

Adam……The execution of Jesus may be problematic for Bart Erhman, because he didn’t take into consideration, that Pilot did not believe Jesus deserved to die, and sought to free him on several occasions. Adam……I like Bart Ehrman’s, Books a lot and many things he writes I agree with, but he lacks a very important then in his reasonings, in my opinion, he never express or acknowledges that God himself plays a Part in any of his historical reasonings. He makes it as if God plays no part in what has, and is happening in the past, or present,…[Read more]

Adam…..remember what the original word for “redeemed ” means, it means to “buy back”. So the idea of something used to buy back, is scriptural. We are told that God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whoso believes in him should not Parrish. The thread of a redemptive process, through the paying of debt is woven throug…[Read more]

Berean…..why did you leave out the word “ONLY”. there? , So, who is the real “wolf” in sheep’s clothing here?
Jesus said, “This is eternal life that they might know “YOU” the “ONLY” “TRUE” God, and Jesus Christ who you have sent”.
How clear can you get< the word “ONLY” means there is “NO” other “true” GOD , but ONE and Jesus was not talk…[Read more]

Berean…..Your big problem is, you have Jesus as your God, instead of the God of Jesus as your God. If you truly believed Jesus, you would say exactly what he said, “This is eternal life that they might know you “THE “ONLY” TRUE GOD” , NOW ask yourself how much of what Jesus said there do you , “truly” Believe?

Adam…..The native Indians in America, believed in the “Great Spirit,” that was also in all creatures, the Eagle, the Buffalo, etc. I tend to believe that also, that God, who “is Spirit” is “in” all things that have life in them. Adam…..Very good post brother, I just wonder, could it be that In order to see God , we would have to come out side of him ( and because life is what God is) so that would mean we would have to come outside of him, and we would have to die, in order to achieve that?
I am more and more convinced, God is what life “itself” is. Remember what Paul…[Read more]GeneBalthrop replied to the topic Christian writers Misquoting Texts – What does Hebrew Bible really say? in the forum Doctrinal Disagreements 3 years, 5 months ago

All……..I believe the problem exists in the meaning of the word God itself. When people try to make that word out to be a “person”, instead of what the words “itself” actually means, then comes in the confusions.

Adam….The real question is , does Berean actually believe that what he quoted, seeing he believes Jesus is his God, and a ‘PREEXISTING’ Jesus, who created everything. Many trinitarians quote scriptures, and what Jesus said, but few it seems “actually” believe him and what he said. IMO

Adam…..That was good for incite on how the idea of a resurrection from the grave was originally introduced into our scriptures. Adam, how do they Handel the scripture that says, God would not suffer his Holy ones “body” to see corruption in the Grave. Does that not show a resurrection of a non decomposed human body. And also prove the person (his holy one) was indeed, put to death, How is that explained away by the Jews.
