Biblical Prophecies of Israel

I don’t think anyone is saying that Israel is a nation after God. But that God hasn’t given up on the Jews and after WWII and the holocaust, he brought them back from the four corners of the globe to dwell in the land once more and to possess Jerusalem just as he said he would. This small desert region has become a garden in the sense of the fruits it produces and the people speak Hebrew which God also said would happen.

This he has done for a purpose as we see Israel in scripture in the last days and even Armageddon is fought on the land of Israel.

We are also told that the dragon will pursue her and all who keep the commandments of God.

The early church did not believe that God would be behind a future re-gathering of the Jews to Israel. To the contrary they believed “the antichrist” would be behind a future regathering of the Jews to Israel.

They all agreed on this.

Here’s some examples..

”Christ arose from among the Hebrews, and
he (Antichrist) will spring from among the
Jews. Christ showed His flesh as a Temple,
and raised it up on the third day; and he,
too, will raise up again the Temple of stone in
Jerusalem.” (St. Hippolytus)

“In every respect that Deceiver seeks to make
himself appear like the Son of God. Christ is
king of things celestial and terrestrial, and
Antichrist will be king upon earth. The
Saviour sent the Apostles unto all the
nations, and he, in like manner will send false
apostles. Christ gathered together the
dispersed sheep, and he in like manner will
gather together the dispersed people of the
Hebrews. Christ appeared in the form of
man, and he in like manner will come forth in
the form of man.” (Hippolytus)

“Antichrist will rule the world from
Jerusalem, which he will make into a
magnificent city.” (St. Anselm)

“He will call together the whole people to
himself, out of every country of the
Dispersion, making them his own, as though
they were his own children, and promising to
restore their country and establish again their
kingdom and nation, in order that he may be
worshipped by them as God.” (St. Hippolytus)

Antichrist will heal the sick, raise the dead,
restore sight to the blind, hearing to the
deaf, speech to the dumb, raises storms and
calms them, re-names mountains, make trees
blossom and wither at a word, re-build the
temple of Jerusalem, and make Jerusalem the
capital city of the world with the vast wealth
of hidden treasures.” (Rabanus Maurus)

These days
shall run their course rapidly; and the
kingdom of the Deceiver and Antichrist shall
be promptly removed. And then, finally, in
the twinkling of an eye shall the fashion of
this world pass away, and the power of men
shall be brought to naught, and all visible
things shall be destroyed.” (St. Hippolytus)

Why are so many Christians today, teaching that God is the one who is regathering the Jews to Israel – and that there will be a temporary one thousand years in which Jesus rules from Jerusalem?

Watch out for false prophets.

“Do not go out – do not believe them”, Jesus said.

God will reveal what he will reveal to whom he will reveal, when he will reveal it.

This is the FIRST gathering of Israel,as of 1948.

There will be another gathering of Israel but this time into the kingdom of God.
The jews chosen by choice will be grafted back on to the natural olive tree.
And they will live in peace with no pain nor sorrows and no wars.
The lion will eat straw.

THE FIRST GATHERING:
Jeremiah 16:14 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be said, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;

Jeremiah 16:15 But, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands whither he had driven them: and I will bring them again into their land that I gave unto their fathers.

Jeremiah 16:16 Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith the LORD, and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks.

Jeremiah 16:17 For mine eyes are upon all their ways: they are not hid from my face, neither is their iniquity hid from mine eyes.

Jeremiah 16:18 And first I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double; because they have defiled my land, they have filled mine inheritance with the carcases of their detestable and abominable things.

THE SECOND GATHERING:
Jeremiah 23:1 Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.

Jeremiah 23:2 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD.

Jeremiah 23:3 And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.

Jeremiah 23:4 And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the LORD.

Jeremiah 23:5 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.

Jeremiah 23:6 In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Jeremiah 23:7 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no more say, The LORD liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;

THIS IS ISREAL TODAY:

Revelation 11:8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called **Sodom and Egypt**, where also our Lord was crucified.
