    Hi Everyone,

When the Apostle John says “our hands have handled of the Word of life” (ref. 1John 1:1), is he talking about…

    1. Taking part in giving us “The Word” of God.
    -or-
    2. Touching Jesus

    Hi Everyone,

To believe the Apostle John here is talking about physically touching Jesus is just plain silly.
This thread shows just how far those who believe in the lies of systems of religions will go to support them.

    Hi ED,
Jesus became the Word by anointing with the Spirit of Christ, the Word.
To touch the human vessel was to touch the Word

EDj……1 John 1:5 THIS THEN IS THE “MESSAGE”, WE HAVE HEARD of (meaning about) HIM (God) and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him (God) is no darkness at all.

EDJ…….WE SHOULD ALL BECAME CRITICAL READERS BECAUSE A LOT OF TAMPERING HAS TAKEN PLACE OVER THE LAST 1800, YEARS WITH OUR BIBLE TEXT.

THERE APPEARS TO BE TWO DESTINCT OPPOSITIONS PLAYED OUT IN OUR PRESENT TEXT WE HAVE TODAY. One is the original adoptionist theology held by the original apostles and the early church fathers, and the later changes which came to be called “ORTHODOX” teaching, which changed Jesus’ identify from a ordinary human being to a God who preexisted his berth on this earth, this caused a corruption of our text as it gradually changed over many years to move away from the adoptionist view, to the so called “orthodox” view through the altering of existing text to what we have today. MODERN CRITICAL TEXTUAL SCHOLARS, know this beyond a doubt and have earlier recently discovered (last hundred years or so) text to prove it.

Peace and love to you and yours…………….gene

    Hi Nick,

To say the bible doesn’t use allegories is simply untrue. Here is one example…

“The name YHVH is a strong tower” (Prov 18:10)

True, but most would rather believe what the systems of religion say.

    Hi Nick,

Both Manoah (Judges 13:22) and Abraham (Acts 7:35) thought “an Angel of YHVH” was God.
