    Hi Ed,

Do you think that fulfilling all the commandments was impossible for an ordinary man?

Did you doubt the plan of God was feasible?

    Hi Ed,

You think that our God could not help a man fulfill the law?

Do you think the law was an unfair requirement made by God?

    Hi Ed,

Paul was set apart from his mother’s womb and called by God’s grace.

    Gal1.15

Do you think Jesus was more like John being filled with the Holy Spirit while yet in his mother’s womb?

    Lk 1.15

    Any Scriptures if so?

    Hi Ed,

Of course John was already alive in his own spirit when he received the Holy Spirit.

But you think the Spirit of Christ is the human spirit of the man Jesus?

    Hi Ed,

But you think the Spirit of Christ is the human spirit of the man Jesus?

No Nick, Micah 5:2 clearly says the Spirit of Christ came from eternity to Bethlehem

    Hi Ed,

It is unfortunate that you cannot find any witnesses to your personal interpretation of Micah 5.2.

    Hi Ed,

    Micah 5.2

But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, too little to be among the clans of Judah,

from you one will go forth for Me to be ruler in Israel.

His goings forth are from long ago, from the days of eternity.

    Heb 13.8

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Whose goings forth are from eternity?

    The Spirit’s.

Who is going forth as a vessel from Bethlehem for the rule of God?

    Jesus bar Joseph.

Who is the Ruler led by the Spirit of God?

    Jesus Christ.

    Hi Jodi,

We know the words of the prophets came from God.

But you think the words of the Son of God are from pagan superstition?

    Perhaps I misunderstood you.

    Hi Ed,

Do you think the law was an inadequate guide for men under the law?

Do you think Jesus had an advantage over every other Jewish man?

Did Jesus not fulfill the law and prove it was possible to do so?

Was not Moses and the prophets real food for their journey?

He was born under the law, not yet the law of the Spirit.

Thy Word is a lamp to my feet.

    Hi,

    Acts 13.9f

This Man was listening to Paul as he spoke , who, when he had fixed his gaze on him and seen that he had faith to be made well, said with a loud voice

    ’Stand upright on your feet’

and he leaped up and began to walk. When the crowds saw what Paul had done, they raised their voice, saying in the Lycaonian language,

’The gods have become like men and have come down to us’

And they began calling Barnabas, Zeus and Paul, Hermes, because he was the chief speaker. The priest of Zeus, whose temple was just outside the city, brought oxen and garlands to the gates, and wanted to offer sacrifice with the crowds. But when the apostles Barnabas and Paul heard of it, they tore their robes and rushed out into the crowds , crying out and saying

’Why, are you doing these things? We are also men of the same nature as you, and preach the gospel to you that you should turn from these vain things to a living God, Who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and al that is in them. In the generations gone by He permitted all the nations to go their own ways; and yet He did not leave Himself without witness, in that He did good and gave you rains from heaven and fruitful seasons, satisfying your hearts with food and gladness’

Natural men seeing the work of God done through holy vessels ascribe the work to the men.

Jesus the Christ, and his anointed brothers are servants of the living God.

They were all of the same nature as the listeners.

Nick….Very well put brother, ascribing what God the Father does, to the person he is doing it through is equating that person as a God himself, as trinitarians do.

It is a form of “Idolatry”. Jesus never did that, nor would any true believer do it either, that is stealing glory from God the Father, a very dangerous thing to do. GOD SAID “HE GIVES (HIS) GLORY TO NO MAN”, JESUS SAID I HAVE GLORIFIED “YOU” UPON THE EARTH, NOT HIMSELF. PETER had the same problem also as i recall.

Remember when Jesus said to Mary, concerning Lazarus resurection, “Said I not unto you, that, if you would believe, you should see the glory OF GOD? Now notice Jesus’ very next words, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me, and I knew that you hear me always: (now notice what he says) “but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that you have sent me”.

Why did he say that?, was it not because the people who heard him say “that you might see the Glory of God”, could have thought Jesus was the one doing it, and showing them, he was God, by saying, “see the glory of God”. So Jesus clarified why he said it, it was not to portray himself as a God, but to let them know, GOD SENT HIM. JESUS DID NOT LET ANYONE THINK HE WAS A GOD.

Why can’t trinitarians see that Nick?

Peace and love to you and yours? ………gene

    Hi LU,

Peter said that Jesus is the Christ, the son of the living God.

Jesus confirmed that this came from the Spirit

But you disagree with the Spirit?
