    Hi,
    121 times in the NT
    Yet folks still try to work in their own strength.

    Nick;

    What version of Scripture?

    How many times in the OT?

    Nick;

    Men were saved by the grace of God; even prior to the new covenant.

    The grace of the new covenant is the new man.

    Hi KW,
    Is the meaning the same?
    Genesis 33:8
    And he said, What meanest thou by all this drove which I met? And he said, These are to find grace in the sight of my lord.

    Genesis 33:10
    And Jacob said, Nay, I pray thee, if now I have found grace in thy sight, then receive my present at my hand: for therefore I have seen thy face, as though I had seen the face of God, and thou wast pleased with me.

    Genesis 33:15
    And Esau said, Let me now leave with thee some of the folk that are with me. And he said, What needeth it? let me find grace in the sight of my lord.

    Genesis 34:11
    And Shechem said unto her father and unto her brethren, Let me find grace in your eyes, and what ye shall say unto me I will give.

    Genesis 39:4
    And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand.

    Genesis 47:25
    And they said, Thou hast saved our lives: let us find grace in the sight of my lord, and we will be Pharaoh's servants.

    Genesis 47:29
    And the time drew nigh that Israel must die: and he called his son Joseph, and said unto him, If now I have found grace in thy sight, put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh, and deal kindly and truly with me; bury me not, I pray thee, in Egypt:

    Hi Nick, certain about it. 1Thess 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

    Ex 33:13 Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way,
    that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people.

    Zech 4:7 Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain:
    and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.

    God bless

    Hi ED,
    In the OT the words GRACE IN THY SIGHT is often used with regard to God and men.
    The Grace of God in the NT in Christ Jesus is transforming power.

    Hi,
    The Spirit of Grace changes us into the inner likeness of Jesus Christ and enables us to be overcomers.

    Nick;

    These two passages seem to be the same grace.

    Psalm 84:11
    King James Version (KJV)

    11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

    Proverbs 3:34
    King James Version (KJV)

    34 Surely he scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace unto the lowly.

    Good one KW,
    All has ever been of grace.

    But none received the Spirit of Grace in the fulness till Jesus Christ.
    We too can now partake of a share of that fulness of grace if we are clothed in him and he is in us.

    T;

    They are included in the:

    “All has ever been of grace.”

    But they could not partake of a share of that fulness of grace as they could not be clothed in him and he is in them while in their mortal lives; just as it is written:

    1 Peter 1
    King James Version (KJV)

    10 Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
    11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
    12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.
