  • Hi Jodi

What do you think about this scripture? Do you think He Jesus had the glory before the world was

    Yes or no
    John 17:5
And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.

  • Hi Dig, you said:

Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!” 29 Jesus *said to him

Rather than craft a post about this, I poinyvyoubto the following page.

    John 20:28

  • Hi Jodi

    You said:

When you interpret a passage and say it is saying pre-existence you destroy the significance of what is actually being said. You are not only distracting people away from what is our unity of faith suppose to be in, but you are leading people away from the actual message that is revealing something profound.

  • Hi TC,

Okay, I will know why a response might come later than sooner, understandable, thank you.

John 5:25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

ME: As already shown through the rest of John 5, the HOUR represents both those who have…[Read more]

  • Gene it’s apparent there’s no talking to you for these reasons. Bye

  • Hi Gene

Your the one that belive like the Gnostic. Gene for one you keep trying to prove from Hebrews 2:6-11is speaking that Jesus “is just a man” it’s apparent you don’t have a clue what the phrase “the son of man” or “Jesus” mean. That’s why I never responded to your post on this subject. To deny all other scriptures that tell  us what the…[Read more]

  • Dig4ruth…….GOD WAS “IN” JESUS,  That never made him a God, no more then it would make you a God if God who “is” spirit was “in” you.  But GOD’S presence would be there, so Thomas finely got it,  “MY lord “AND” GOD. If Thomas was meaning Jesus was God, he would have simply said my LORD GOD, he would not have added the word “and” in what he sa…[Read more]

  • Hi tww

Sorry about that last post using my phone

Firstly, Jesus is the Firstborn over all creation (Colossians 1:15),

Secondly, Jesus is the Firstborn of Mary (Matthew 1:25), 25 and did not know her till she had brought forth her firstborn Son. And he called His name Jesus.

Thirdly, Jesus is the Firstborn from the dead(Colossians 1:18), 18 A…[Read more]

  • Hi tww

You said:. Maybe this BORN before all creation means something else? In fact it does, he is the first born of the new creation.

I say: maybe this born means just what it said’s. In fact it does.

  • Right Jodi, your mind isn’t made up at all. : 0

I don’t debate what Scrioture clearly states, there is no need to. But please continue to look into this yourself.

John 20:27-29 Then He *said to Thomas, “Reach here with your finger, and see My hands; and reach here your hand and put it into My side; and do not be unbelieving, but be…[Read more]

  • Hi t8

My point about Jesus’s Father and your Father, is that you was born from your Father and your a human. Jesus was born of His Father and He’s a God.    God bless.

  • Hi Anthony, it seems from reading your last post that we agree on a lot of things, although the post was hard to read as it seemed to out of order somewhat.

When I talk about my father in a spiritual sense, I am talking of the Father, not my earthly daddy. So we can be born from above in new birth and become a son of God. Like Jesus too, but of…[Read more]

  • Good Morning t8,

I am believing in precisely what scripture says. You are changing the direct scriptural truth because you are misunderstanding what heavenly and spiritual means.

A strange answer considering I spoke about scripture and what was said and further agreed with it. I was talking about the different bodies and how there are earthly…[Read more]

  • Hi Jodi,

I will get back to you later on your last post.  I usually reserve the weekends to post.  I will try to get back sooner than later

  • Hi Jodi,

Why would we have a body reserved in heaven already before we die if our present one’s will be transformed? Please answer.

You need desperately to reconcile Romans 6:4, Gal 5:24, 2 Cor 12:1 2 Cor 5:4, 6-9, John 5:25, John 11:23 with 1 Thes 4:13-16, which you have not done.  On the surface they seem to contradict.

    Let’s see how you do.

  • TC,

John 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he…[Read more]

  • T8…..by preaching Jesus was born with the anointing spirit, and he was not baptized inorder to recieve it, then that put in the ranks of an anti-anointing, or ANTICHRIST person . What you are saying in effect is Jesus was not a true human being, who would need to be anointed with God’s spirit as we have to be. You also preach he prexisted as som…

  • Hi Jodi:

You: The promise was to anoint them with the Holy Spirit so they could be apostles, so they could speak in tongues, so they could prophecy. The promise they received was NOT the great promise that God gave to all of mankind before He created the world, which was the promise of eternal life.

    Me: Not true.

Acts 1:4 And, being assembled…[Read more]

  • Hi TC,

You need to look at more verses in chapter 5, as it does not fit at all with what you say. The hour was not at Pentecost, the hour is at the sound of the trumpet spoken of by Paul in 1 Corinthians 15.

John 5:25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they…[Read more]
